Time for Toy Day 05/01/2024

Time for Toy Day
Santa has been very generous to the boys and girls in Primary 1 this year. Today we had so much fun exploring the toys and games that everyone received on Christmas morning. I was so impressed with how well the children shared their toys and how carefully they played with each others. Well done P1!

Sharing the Christmas Spirit 21/12/2023

Sharing the Christmas Spirit
This week in Primary 1, the children came together with their P7 buddies to make some beautiful Christmas cards for their families. The Primary 7 children were extremely patient and kind and helped the children to complete the writing inside their cards, as well as the beautiful art work on the front. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their festive fun with their buddies.

🎅🏼🎄 Christmas Celebration 🎄🎅🏼

Last night we gathered in the beautiful and peaceful setting of Ballymacnab Chapel for our Christmas Carol service.

Primary 1 and 2 performed their poems fantastically well and the rest of the school performed so superbly in the Christmas tableau and Choir.

It really set the tone for the rest of the festive period and marked the beginning of the run in to Christmas.

Thank you to the huge crowd who turned up to support the children, to the staff of our school for all of their work in preparing the children so well and of course to the children of Foley PS who are all Christmas Stars, for their fabulous performances which made the night so special.

As part of our Junior Entrepreneur Programme we invited Michelle from Gift & Art Gallery in to talk to our Primary 7 class on the day to day running of a business.

An informative and insightful talk on a typical day; with the children able to find out what might be in store with our own business venture.

A massive thank you to Michelle!
