We had a fantastic morning welcoming our new Primary One children. Such a brave, well mannered and excited group of children who were a pleasure to have in our school.

There was lots of excitement as the children got to meet their teachers, visit their classroom and new school for the first time.

We canโ€™t wait to see you back in September wearing your new school uniform! ๐Ÿซ โœ๏ธ ๐Ÿคฉ

Well done Annie Toner. This big guy made it all the way down the road from Emerald Park. Annie's name was randomly selected from the names of all the boys and girls in the school. Another seat at the table needed Toners! ๐Ÿป

Today was Fitness Friday and to wrap up Health Promotion Week we had our sports day down at Ballymacnab Pitch.

Running Races, Skills Stations and Penalties Practice were the order of the day!

We were blessed with good weather for most of the day and even more blessed to have the stand at the pitch when the weather turned a bit wet.

Thank you to Stephen and Donna Mullan from Mullans SPAR for sponsoring fruit and water for everyone.

Most importantly, everyone had a great time and enjoyed their day.

No sports day would be complete without an ice cream in the way home!

Have a lovely weekend!

Check out the strong decision making skills on display in Primary 3 today. ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

It took lots of reasoning, teamwork, creativity and judgement to create their wonderful pirate ships. The materials that they chose were based on their โ€˜Sink or Floatโ€™ experiment results from last week. They took some time to think and plan in their pairs and then set to work creating a ship that would float and be able to hold some small pirate passengers!

A very fun afternoon, well done boys and girls! โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ
