And just like that our Preschool Class of 2025/26 has come to an end 😢 We have had the best time with all the kids this year and wish them the best of luck in their new school. 🎉 We look forward to September and welcoming back both old and new friends😊

Acting Deputy Leader – Pre-School & Out of School Club
(Maternity Cover with the possibility of extension)
📅 Start Date: September 2026
Keady Pre-School & Out of School Club is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Acting Deputy Leader to join our team.
This role will primarily involve working across both our Pre-School and Out of School Club settings, providing continuity of care and support for children throughout the day.

Essential Criteria
✔ Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
✔ Experience working with children in a childcare, pre-school, education or daycare setting.
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills.
✔ A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Desirable Criteria
⭐ Hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent), or be working towards a Level 5 qualification.
⭐ A minimum of 2 years' paid experience within the last 5 years in a play, education or daycare setting.
⭐ Previous supervisory or leadership experience.

Additional Opportunity
We would also welcome applications from individuals interested in working within our Out of School Club only.
🕑 Hours: 2:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Applicants should hold a relevant childcare qualification or have experience working with children in a childcare, education or play setting.

We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team at Keady Pre-School & Outa Schools Club

This is a relief / flexible role, with opportunities available for placement students or apprentices, and potential to grow within the setting.

Working hours:
We operate between 8:30am – 6:00pm, with flexible hours available to suit the right candidate.

Role includes:
• Supporting staff in the care and supervision of children
• Assisting with play, learning and development activities
• Helping with daily routines (meals, activities and hygiene)
• Creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment

We are looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine interest in working with children
• Is kind, patient and dependable
• Works well as part of a team
• Is willing to learn and develop new skills

This may suit someone looking to get into childcare.

🗓 Saturday 21st February

⏰ 1.00pm -2.00pm

🏣 TMAC Centre Keady (Second Floor)

If you are interested in sending your child to Keady Pre School or have already sent us a message regarding a place for 2026/2027 this open day will be perfect for you. You can take your child along and meet the staff,have a look at our facilities and resources and ask questions.

We will have registration forms that can be completed on the day,however if you cannot attend the opening day, you can contact us via private message or on 07704324044. You will need to leave your child’s name,date of birth and state how many mornings they require.

💥Child must be at least 2 years 10 months when starting

💥Places available from 2-5 mornings per week

💥 We have multiple intakes throughout the year
(For example if your child turns 2 years 10 months between September 2026 and June 2027 we may be able to accommodate a different intake for them).
