⭐️⭐️⭐️Our P7 pupils prepared a fantastic talent show on Thursday evening for parents ahead of their P7 celebration evening. Organised from start to finish our P7 pupils showcased their many wonderful and diverse talents to our enthralled audience. Poetry, sport, music, dance, horse riding, puppet show, animations were some of the many talents our P7 pupils presented and it was absolutely superb. Well done to all our 20 outstanding pupils.

Afterwards we watched a very moving iMovie that captured a flavour of the many milestones our pupils experienced in Darkley PS. With baby photos from home, it was certainly a very emotional watch as our P7 pupils enter their last few days in primary school.
💙Pupils were then presented with a token of the schools appreciation with a personalised frame, depicting the many affirming words we would use to describe our unique and special pupils. We will miss them!💙

💙A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving 💙

Our whole school gathered this morning with family and friends to celebrate and give thanks for our wonderful P7 children as they get ready to move to post primary at the end of the month. Fr O’Neill led us beautifully in our Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving. At the end of the service Fr O’Neill and Mrs Carvill presented the children with their Records of Achievement containing a selection of work collected over their years spent in Darkley PS.

Our traditional balloon release then took place to represent the end of one phase of education and the beginning of another. ✨

Our pupils were delighted to be involved and many thanks to both the Donnelly & O’Donnell families for presenting our pupils will medals and treats afterwards. We all had a great morning.

With the Ulster final this weekend and the weather so glorious, it was a great opportunity for pupils to show their support.
