Had the best time running our stageability workshop trial class. This class will be a regular class in September. We are offering two completely free musical theatre workshops
at Arlesey Youth Centre:

Adults with disabilities: 10:00–11:00

Children with SEND / additional needs: 11:15–12:15

These sessions are relaxed, inclusive and designed for all abilities. The youth centre is fully accessible, with a dedicated quiet room, enclosed outdoor space, security doors, mats, a disabled toilet, fully wheelchair accessible and we also bought a mobile hoist so wheelchair users can have a change of position if they need it.

KatsAct is looking to launch regular inclusive theatre classes in September, and these free workshops will help us understand the level of interest within the community. Our aim is to give adults and children with disabilities the chance to explore musical theatre in a safe, supportive and joyful environment.

Kat had an amazing time training with the Royal opera and ballet on Wednesday! The training was for teachers and practitioners to be able to teach some of the programs designed by the royal ballet and opera and we cannot wait to deliver it.
It was also our first afterschool club with a junior school in Letchworth that Wednesday too.
What a busy summer term we have this year!
