Abbey Playgroup

Abbey Playgroup Abbey Playgroup is a playgroup within Arbroath Angus. It caters for children between the ages of 2 and a half and 4. It is also a member of the SPPA.

The Playgroup runs Monday to Friday in the Abbey Church Hall. Please contact the manager Chloe on 07960352805, she will be happy to help. Abbey Playgroup caters for children between the ages of 2 and a half 4 years old, with a maximum of 24 children per session. The Playgroup is a registered charity run by a voluntary committee. It's a partner provider with Angus Council and registered by the Car

e Commission. Funded children are allocated full days from 9am - 3pm, but can also do split session. Morning sessions are 9 - 12 and afternoon sessions are 12 - 3. For non funded children the costs are 1/2 sessions £12.50 and full days £25. All children are eligible for a funded place from around four weeks after their third birthday. Abbey playgroup holds a waiting list and places are offered to children on that list throughout the year as and when a place becomes available. If you are interested in enrolling your child you are welcome to come along and meet the staff and children to find out the pre-school curriculum, and to share information about your child. LAST CHANCE

Today from 12:30pm - 3:30pm is the LAST CHANCE for you to come and have a look at anything you may need.

The church would like to invoice us £100 per day while we are still trying to clear out. Unfortunately we don’t have the money to pay that so I have made the final decision that today is unfortunately the last day and anything left will just be left 😢

Donations - however we reserve the right to ask for a higher donation. Most items are very expensive and some things haven’t long been purchased.

Friday’s times to be confirmed - it is first come first served we cannot commit to holding items because people are failing to turn up for reserved / unpaid items.

Thanks for all the shares, much appreciated, such a shame we have had to close, all staff are still very saddened by this.

Hello.

We have so many items needing new homes.

We will open the door today until around 2:30pm.

We need everything cleared as soon as possible so most items are small charges or free.

We also have a shed, wendyhouse, and a shed full of items off the top of my head.

It’s with great sadness that Abbey Playgroup will close there door’s permanently in the next couple of weeks.

This is due to the church closing and us not knowing exactly when the date of closure keeps getting pushed back it’s too much uncertainty. And not finding another building suitable. All current staff are absolutely devastated by this and so are the current families.

We are holding an open day on Wednesday 25th from 10am-2pm open to all the public, parents other daycare settings and anyone else to sell off all of our equipment with some items being free.
