Lyvennet Class had a fantastic time thinking about autumn and harvest by exploring the school woodland! We used our senses to listen, touch, look, smell and even taste! Not even the rain stopped their enthusiasm! This has really inspired our poetry writing with some powerful vocabulary! 🍁🍂🌧

Last week, Lego Club were challenged to protect a paper cube house from a sudden downpour of rain! They had to design and build structures which kept their paper cube waterproof. Lots of their structures were really successful, and very imaginative! A super effort by all!

Hands up who’s had a good afternoon?! We did!! A few children from Year 3 and 4 enjoyed an exciting afternoon trying Table Tennis for the first time. Huge thank you to Eden Valley Sports Partnership and Appleby Grammar School for hosting!! We learnt the rules, different strategies and lots of new skills - it was enjoyed by all 🏓
