One of these young ladies, displayed amazing leadership skills during her time at Ballycraigy! She was determined, dedicated and approachable. Glad to see her continuing to shine brightly!

A huge thank you to our Junior Prefect Team for the outstanding support they have provided to our new year 8 students as they begin their journey at Parkhall Integrated College.

Over the past two weeks, our prefects have played a vital role in helping students settle into school life with confidence and reassurance. Their hard work, commitment, and leadership have been exemplary and truly reflect our core values of Achievement, Community, Kindness, Respect, and Responsibility.

Today we hosted our very first Brilliant Beginnings Breakfast — and it was an amazing success. It was wonderful to welcome so many of our new families, and even better that we were able to share our RWI approach to phonics before enjoying a shared play session together. We know how important strong home–school partnerships are, and we can’t wait to work closely with parents from P1 and The Meadow to develop our RWI partnership and ensure early phonics and reading are nurtured from the very start.

🎨🌈 P5 Explore Emotions Through Art 🌈🎨
This afternoon, P5 spent time exploring emotions and discussing how feelings can look and feel different for everyone.
The children explored the work of a range of famous artists and looked closely at how colour can be used to express and portray different emotions. Inspired by what they discovered, P5 then had the opportunity to showcase their creativity by using watercolours to represent the colours they associate with a variety of feelings.
It was wonderful to see such thoughtful discussions and imaginative artwork as the children reflected on their emotions and expressed themselves in unique ways through colour.
