🚜 Reminder - Greenmount Association Autumn Farm Walk 🚜

There's just a few weeks to go until our Annual Autumn Farm Walk, and we'd love to see as many members, past students, friends and supporters of Greenmount as possible joining us.

This year we're delighted to be visiting Kilvergan Holsteins, kindly hosted by the Haffey Family.

📅 Wednesday 16th September
🕚 11.00am

Come along and see one of Northern Ireland's leading dairy herds, hear about the farm's journey, and enjoy the opportunity to catch up with fellow members and friends of Greenmount.

💷 A £10 contribution will be collected on arrival to help cover the cost of the farm visit and the lunch provided.

⚠️ To assist with catering and event arrangements, all attendees must register in advance by completing the registration form or emailing the Association.

🚜 Greenmount Association Autumn Farm Walk 🚜

We're delighted to be bringing back our Annual Autumn Farm Walk, a popular event in the Association calendar for many years.

This year we're heading to Kilvergan Holsteins, kindly hosted by the Haffey Family.

Come along and see one of Northern Ireland's leading dairy herds, hear about the farm's journey, and catch up with fellow members, past students and friends of Greenmount.

🌿 40 Years On – A Greenmount Reunion! 🌿

Last week we were delighted to welcome back members of the CCA, CCH and ND3 classes of 1986 for their 40th reunion at CAFRE Greenmount Campus.

It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces returning to where their Greenmount journey began. 🚜🌱 The group enjoyed a tour of the campus, including the halls, Horticulture Centre and Dairy Centre, bringing back plenty of memories and sparking lots of stories along the way.

🍽️ We then enjoyed a lovely lunch in the Manor Restaurant, where the laughter, chat and reminiscing continued.

🌧️ Despite the rain, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits! The day was filled with great company, plenty of laughs, old friendships rekindled and lots of catching up after four decades.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the reunion such a special occasion.

The countdown is officially on to the CAFRE Greenmount Open Farm Weekend, taking place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June from 11am–4pm – and we’re really looking forward to seeing you there!

Make sure to call over to the Greenmount Association stand, which will be conveniently located outside the Manor Restaurant. It’s a great chance to meet the team, have a chat, and find out more about what we do.
