Elephants, Flamingos, and Giraffes have had a great first week back at school. They had lots of fun exploring the outdoors, getting stuck into sensory activities, and getting to know all their new friends. We look forward to another great week ahead!

Well done to Katie, our past pupil, on receiving this award bursary 😊

🎉 Congratulations to Katie Dickson and Rhys McGinley on being awarded prestigious Lincoln Awards bursaries as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their educational journeys at Ulster University.

Katie will be studying Social Work, while Rhys will be pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements and wish them every success in their future studies and careers.

👕 School Uniform Update for 2026/27

We’ve noticed a little confusion around school uniform this year, so we wanted to share a quick reminder to help everyone feel confident about what children can wear.

✨ The biggest change for this year:
Children in Years 4–7 will no longer have the option of the blue shirt and tie. This part of the uniform has been removed.

👚 What remains exactly the same:
Our long‑standing school uniform — red polo shirt, navy sweatshirt, and grey skirt/trousers — is still a fully approved option for all pupils across the whole school.

🆕 New optional items:
This year we’ve added a few extra choices to give families more flexibility:
• A 1/4 zip top (for everyone)
• A sky blue polo shirt (Years 4-7)
• Sporty‑style t‑shirts (red - Years 1-3, sky blue - Years 4-7)
These sport style tops can be worn as part of school uniform under the 1/4 zip and are especially helpful for children who prefer a lighter material than the traditional cotton polo shirt.

We hope this clears things up and makes getting ready for school that little bit easier. Thank you for your continued support — it really helps keep everything running smoothly.
