Hello and welcome to Fern Academy Tutoring for Primary School aged children available for the summer months 2022.
My name is Janine (Miss J) a passionate teacher working in Education for over 10 years; teaching in many countries such as: England, Finland, Africa, New Zealand and N.Ireland.
Experience of all ages from 5-12 years in public, private and Special Need settings.
It is crucial our children have breaks away from a strenuous learning and demanding social environments. However, as parents we may have concerns on the implications a long break can have for our kids. Well… do not worry tutoring is here!
Sessions will promote real life learning with support of visual resources and prompts. These learning sessions will also promote emotional and social learning, as well as, developing your child’s self-esteem and positivity. Bespoke lessons will be planned for your child and if they have a specific learning development, this will be accommodated within my teaching.

1 hour session 1-2-1 £25
1.30 hour session £30 - (10min break)
Siblings discount - 2 children £45- must come at same time (2 hours) 1 hour each (one child plays while sibling is being tutored)
1 hour Special Education teaching 1-2-1 £30
(Trained in TEACCH, PECs, Numicon, LEGO-based therapy, Zones of Regulation, principles that support ABA practice)
