Hello everyone and welcome to my Science tutoring page! I hope you are all having a lovely day! With secondary schools unlikely to re-open until September and many students wanting to ensure they are not missing out on vital Science education and wishing to be ready and up to date for September, I am here to help. I am happy to provide online tuition or in person. Obeying social distancing rules of course. I am based on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border but I happy to travel throughout those two counties and across the Midlands. I am fully DBS checked.
I am a highly skilled and successful teacher with 25 years of secondary level Science teaching experience in secondary schools. I have taught KS3 Science and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics throughout that time. I am also an exam marker for Edexcel, OCR and AQA so I am very strong at improving performance in exams.
I have privately tutored several students through KS3 and their GCSE's with a high success rate. My most recently tutored students increased their grades from 6 to 9 and 4 to 7 respectively.
As I am also an actress and performer too, I am a confident person with very good inter-personal skills and engage very well with my students to bring out the best in them. I am consistently successful in raising confidence and the enjoyment of Science.
