A fun filled morning at the park after a trip to tesco.
It was too much Bertie as he snoozed all the way home.
This afternoon Ivy & Kolbie played with the trains & constructed bridges & tracks.Bertie enjoyed playing the piano 🎹 while Kolbie played the guitar🎸 instruments.Then Ivy & Bertie fed & dressed the babies.

Another busy fun filled day.
First thing we took a walk round the farm to introduce Bertie & Barnaby to the horses🐎 And we also found some chestnuts on the ground.Then after snack we went to Aldi to get some bread to feed the ducks🦆
& headed up the river..There was lots of ducks 🦆& seagulls.Bertie missed them all as he was napping.Then Ivy & Barnaby enjoyed a little kick about with the footballs⚽️,before heading to the running track. We lined up & had a wee race.Bertie then woke up joined us.After lunch we painted using loose parts. Ivy - " I made planets🪐 & the moon 🌔.
Barnaby -" Sky, moon🌔.
Bertie loved stamping with corks & wooden rings to.
Once we picked Elijah up from school we enjoyed our snack in the garden & having a play before hometime.

Wow what a busy day we've had today.
A short walk this morning then after snack we baked a cake🎂.
We all took turns weighing & adding all our ingredients then Laura popped it in the oven.While our cake was cooking Ivy & Barnaby had a wee play in the garden & Bertie had a nap.Barnaby tried to find objects that were magnetic to stick to the magnets,Ivy was busy going up & down the slide.Then both wanted pushed "higher" on the swings.
Once our cake was ready we left it to cool.After lunch we got to decorate it with icing & lots of sprinkles.Ivy then had a wee chill while the boys enjoyed the poppets & taking the babies a walk.Then we went to collect the boys from school.At snack time we got to taste our yummy cake😋.It was a big hit with everyone.And then we went out to the garden for some more fun with the big ones.Albie & Elijah helped push the little ones on the swings.
We had a great first day for Barnaby & Bertie.

Another wee visit from Kiera today & mummy managed to leave to.Kiera enjoyed exploring all the resources,she managed to use the keys to unlock the trains 🚂 then tried some threading.And she even had to referee a dinosaur🦕🦖 fight.
Josh & Ivy also both took turns to find the right keys to unlock the trains.🚂Josh then matched the colour blocks to the pictures.
Kolbie popped in for a wee visit.We went out to the garden as the sun was shining & played on the swing & slide.🛝Kolbie & Josh did a bug 🪳🦗🐞🪲hunt,Ivy was busy making cups of tea.🫖☕️Then the boys added the wooden road ramps to the cable reel & pushed the cars 🚕🚗down & Ivy came round to join them.
We enjoyed lunch alfresco & more fun in the sun
Josh had the cubes out & put them order like number blocks.🟧🟨🟩🟦🟪
He counted them,added & multiplyed."Look Laura 7 number blocks & 7 number blocks that's 14 number blocks.Ivy picked the other colour cubes & laid them all out.

I missed Miss Ivy today as she had her first day at nursery.But she had the best day & was excited to share her day when she came for her big brother Elijah.
But not to worry she's back here on Monday,going forward I will no longer be working a Friday.

This mornings walk was round the farm.We saw the horses & got to pat the farm dog.Then Elijah has been asking about the library so we took a walk there.Whilst there we read some stories,looked through the childrens encyclopedia's & coloured in some pictures.Jesse suggested we had pizza wraps for lunch so we popped to the shop for wraps & pepperoni.When we got home we sat out all our ingredients,pepperoni,chicken,cheese,tomato puree & peppers.
Elijah made a face with his,Jesse added lots of pepperoni,Ivy had chicken & peppers & Annie decided to like peppers today to.Laura popped them in the oven & when cooked,cut them with the pizza cutter.All the children tucked in & there was lot of "mmmm's coming from them.
After lunch Elijah had the magnet board & numbers out,Annie,Ivy & Jesse coloured more of their pictures from the library.Then we went a wee walk for an ice cream as its back to school tomorrow.

This mornings walk up the river to feed the ducks.🦆 Then we went to see if the parks at Thorburn Crescent & Tweedie Terrace were still there.Both were so we stopped for a wee play,then home for snack.We then took Eddie for a hair cut.After lunch Ivy wanted the magnetic board & letters out.And then she had the animal pattern blocks out & completed these by matching the correct shapes to the boards.Elijah build a train track🛤 & there was an explosion & the trains🚂 derailed,before rebuilding a huge track.🛤

First day back after our 2 weeks off & back into a routine.First thing we took a walk round the farm.Then after snack Kiera came for her first settling in visit.Then we did some colouring in.Elijah wanted chicken nuggets for lunch & pancakes for snack so we went another walk to tesco.After lunch we had a wee chill before a wee walk to aldi & the park.Before snack we went to see how our cucumbers🥒 were doing & picked two,which we chopped up for snack.Both Elijah & Ivy said they were yummy.

Today we took a nice leisurely walk to tesco as Elijah wanted to buy him & Ivy a sweet with his own money.He chose some tic tacs & Ivy chose some buttons.Elijah scanned his sweets before popping the money in to pay.He waited for his change & receipt.Then whilst they enjoyed they're goodies we continued our walk round Watchhall.We spotted some sheep,🐑horses🐎 & cows🐂 Elijah even managed to pat a couple of the cows.🐂
We continued on to the park where we stopped for a wee play.Elijah wanted a picnic lunch but as it was a bit cloudy outside we decided to have an indoor picnic.
Kolbie popped in after lunch & we all had some more fun in the garden.
