*** 👨‍🚒 Fire Brigade Visit 🚒*** (5 of 5)
This afternoon, we were very lucky to have a visit from Darren, Jeff, Nathan and Henry who came along with their Fire Engine from East Preston. The children split into two groups and alternated between having a Fire Safety story and being shown the whole kit they wear and seeing and sitting in the actual Engine. Nathan and Henry showed them lots of the tools they use to help rescue people and animals.
Then came time for some extra special fun. Our visitors got two hoses running and we were all able to have a turn! We are so grateful to them giving up their time and sharing their knowledge with us as part of our People that Help Us and Safety Week.

We had a lovely time in the Nature Area today and had great fun pond dipping. The children found so many exciting creatures including Water Boatmen, giant tadpoles, water nymphs and, in a new record for Chloe and her pond dipping expertise, 4 newts 😁
