🎉 Celebrations at The Angmering School! 🎉

Students and staff at The Angmering School are celebrating another excellent set of GCSE and BTEC results, with a significant proportion of students achieving top grades.

There was particular success in English and maths, with the percentage of students achieving strong grades in both subjects rising once again. 👏

Huge congratulations to Daniel Clarke, Tom O’Toole, Maya Webb, Fynn Caldicott, Gerard Lohan, Charli Barker and Riley Cook, who achieved very high grades across their subjects.

Special congratulations go to Mabel Turner, who achieved an incredible 8 grade 9s! 🌟

Many students will now continue their education at Angmering Sixth Form College, while others move on to new opportunities in education, training and employment.

Headteacher Simon Liley praised the students’ hard work and thanked staff, parents and carers for their support.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — we wish you every success in your next chapter! 🎓👏

🎬 That’s a wrap, folks! 🌈✨

And what a year it’s been.

We’ve celebrated achievements, embraced new challenges, created unforgettable memories and, most importantly, grown together as a school community.

Today was the perfect way to finish another fantastic year. Our Battle of the Houses Colour Run brought the whole school together in a celebration of teamwork, house spirit, laughter and colour – a truly unforgettable end to the 2025/26 school year.

To our incredible students – thank you for your enthusiasm, resilience and the energy you bring to our school every day.

To our amazing staff – thank you for everything you do to make experiences like this possible.

To our parents and carers – thank you for your continued support throughout the year.

Have a wonderful, safe and well-deserved summer break. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September for another exciting year at The Angmering School.

The finish line’s near, the year’s almost done!

A huge well done to every student who took part in today’s Sports Day on and off the field. It was a fantastic day filled with determination, teamwork, encouragement and plenty of house spirit – a true reflection of what The Angmering School community is all about!

A big thank you to all of the staff who gave their time and energy to make the day such a success.

And a very special thank you to Mr Jenner, who goes above and beyond every year to organise such an incredible event. Your hard work, enthusiasm and dedication make Sports Day one of the highlights of the school calendar. 👏

We would like to celebrate the success of all 10 Year 7 Dance groups who performed with fantastic professionalism at our Dance Mania competition last week. Freya from Year 10 was the winning mentor and her piece based on Cinderella demonstrated fantastic characterisation and story line! The group worked brilliantly as a team and we were so proud of every single performer on the night! We cant wait for next year!

Friday marked the final Ocean Therapy sessions of this term, bringing to a close the blue space therapy groups invited to take part by Louie Hubbard. The students were once again excited to get out on the water for one last adventure, joined this time by Mr Curd alongside instructors Freddy and Kirsty from The Beach Watersports.
They had a fantastic few hours paddling boarding 2k along the coast time, and had to dig in deep on the way back as they fought the tide, and the wind as it picked up speed.
But with a sturdy resilience, and a healthy sense of competition all six students arrived back full of the joys of accomplishment, confidence and pride.
Thank you so much to Louie Hubbard at Silent Mayday and Mikey, Freddy & Kirsty from The Beach Watersports, the students and staff have thoroughly enjoyed every session, you have made us all feel very welcome and the experience and expertise you have all shared with our students has been invaluable.
We look forward to the next group joining you!

⭐ LNC Grand Hamper Raffle – A Fantastic Success! ⭐

The LNC recently held its first-ever Grand Hamper Raffle, and it was a tremendous success.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our parents, students and staff, we had an amazing 27 hampers on offer and raised over £1,300 for the LNC Charitable Trust.

The funds raised will help ensure that students in the LNC have access to the same opportunities and experiences as their peers in the main school, supporting enrichment activities and reducing barriers to participation.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and helped make the event such a success. Your generosity and support will have a lasting impact on our students, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed.

🎓🎓A huge congratulations to one of our former pupil, Joseph Baxendale, who graduated from the University of Cambridge last week with a First Class Honours degree in Economics.
This is an outstanding achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

We are incredibly proud to see our alumni go on to achieve such remarkable success and wish them every happiness as they embark on the next exciting chapter of their journey. Well done! ⭐⭐
