3-2-5 Pre-school Playgroup is a charity based organization which was established in the 1980’s. We are registered with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted), the Local Education Authority and Pre-school Learning Alliance. We work closely with the pre-school development worker via Services for Young Children. Our Manager has a Bachelors Degree (Hons)/Level 6 in Children’s Development and L
earning and has over a decade of experience in Early Years. Our Deputy Manager is Level 4 and SENDCO qualified, has been working with children for twenty years, and works with a team of dedicated staff, who all hold Level 3 qualifications recognised by Ofsted and are all trained Paediatric First Aiders. We have a maximum capacity of 28 children per session per day and have a higher than required ratio of adults to children. At our setting, we believe children learn best when they are engaged in their own interests. Our environment supports child-led learning with open-ended resources, and our staff use their knowledge and experience to identify teachable moments within the children’s play. We have a Key Worker system to make sure every child has a dedicated person taking care of their needs, whilst observing and assessing their learning and development. We use Tapestry as an online journal to share the children’s experiences with their parents. For further staff information and details about our setting please refer to the additional information on our website www.325preschool.org or email [email protected]
A committee of parents work with the Manager to lead the pre-school and it is important that everyone with a child attending 3-2-5 supports this by getting involved. Other parents are members of the committee. The names of all the committee members, meeting minutes and details forthcoming meetings can be requested via email [email protected]. We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we need as many parents to attend as possible and Join us in continuing to support the pre-school.
