We had a little visitor in the sand pit today 🪱

We spotted a young slow-worm enjoying a quiet moment in our sand pit. Our little ones took a few minutes to observe our wriggly visitor before carefully lifting her and popping her safely back into the undergrowth.

At Ninny’s House, we love these unexpected moments of discovery - giving our little ones the chance to slow down, observe nature and care for the creatures we share our garden with💚

A little garden tidy-up 🌿

Our little gardeners have been busy trimming our mint and tomato plants, making the most of everything our garden has to offer.

The mint became the perfect ingredient for some very important potion making 🧙,
while gathering, picking and sorting the tomatoes gave little hands plenty of opportunities to develop those all-important fine motor skills too!

Our surplus of green tomatoes were gathered up for everyone to take home and watch ripen, while we left some on the vine to enjoy when they’re ready at Ninny’s🍅

Growing, creating, getting our hands stuck in and learning along the way!

The end of one adventure, and the beginning of another...

There’s always a little sadness when our little ones leave Ninny’s House to start their next adventure at school. We’re always rather bereft!

But we’re left with so many wonderful memories, proud moments and special little reminders of the time they’ve spent with us.

And what better way to say thank you than with a beautiful homemade cake from one of our lovely mummies? 🎂

We’ll miss you all so much, but we can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you💚

Lulu’s turn at the hairdresser🎀

This week, Lulu enjoyed a little pampering as our mini stylists got to work!

She sat very patiently while our littles ones carefully brushed and combed out her tangles before adding plenty of bows, hair ties, clips and slides

Safe to say, Lulu was looking very smart after her visit to the salon, and might (or might not) be coming back...

Meet Geoffrey the Tortoise!

Our little ones were fascinated to meet him and loved feeding him, giving him a bath and even having a cuddle.

We discovered that Geoffrey loves munching on leaves, apples and cucumber...

and he can walk surprisingly fast
