🐋 Four Fun Fridays is almost here again! 🫧
Join us on Andover High Street this Friday 21 August, 10.30am to 3pm, for another day of FREE family activities, performances and workshops.

Here’s what’s happening 👇
🐋 The Whale by Talking Birds' Whale - Step inside for a tiny theatre experience! From 10.30am to 12pm & 1 to 3pm. 5-minute shows for up to 4 people at a time.
📖 Where the Ash Trees Grow community installation AND storytelling with Merry go Round Storytelling. Sessions at 10.30am, 11.30am & 1pm
🫧 Bubbles Man- Bubble workshops at 10.30am & 2pm. Plus an amazing Bubbles Man Show at 12pm
🎨 Face Painting by Rosie Cheeks Face Painting Wiltshire
🛴 Scooter workshops with Team Rubicon throughout the day
🕊️ Create Peace Doves for International Day of Peace with Andover Trees United
🌊 Create Water Art & A Message in a Bottle with Chapel Arts Studios
📚 Rhymetimes, storytimes & crafts with Andover & Whitchurch Libraries - Hampshire County Council at 11am and 1.30pm
💧 Source to Sea activities with TVBC Countryside Team
⛵ Make your own paper Viking longship with Museum of The Iron Age & Andover Museum

We’ve got Puppet Farm shows and a crafty workshop as part of Four Fun Fridays in Andover today. Huge thanks to Gallaghers Florest for donating some flowers & foliage to make our nature puppets even more special!

🌱💧 Finish the summer with a Freshwater Adventure!

Our final Four Fun Fridays session is all about the incredible wildlife found in our rivers and streams.

For “Freshwater Adventures”, families will be creating:
🐟 River wildlife mobiles inspired by freshwater creatures
🌿 Nature-themed decorations celebrating life in our waterways

We need volunteers to help bring this final session to life.

You can help with:
🎨 Supporting craft activities
👋 Welcoming families
🌱 Sharing your enthusiasm for nature
📦 Setting up and packing away

You don’t need to be a nature expert — just come along ready to help and have fun.

🎉 There's still time to catch the second performance of Mr Chirrups Bug Safari by Curious Company at 2pm on Andover High Street! 🐞🐛

Join Curious Company on a fun-filled journey through stories, facts and songs in this interactive global bug safari!

Led by the Old Green Grasshopper, Miss Ladybird and Arachne Spider this gorgeous show transforms perceptions of insects and demonstrates the vital contribution the tiny friends make to our existence. Perfect for all Roald Dahl lovers! 📚
