Ti's the season that's called Autumn...fa la la la laaa la la la la....Autumn is one of our favourite season because we get to see so many changes around us. The leaves on trees change colours, then they fall to the ground and form this beautiful carpet of different colours ( red, green,yellow orange and brown). The children loves to go out and play in the leaves. They run and jump in it,throw them up in the air and some just want a leaf just for the keep sake. We love going on conker and acorn hunts as well and just admire the squirrels as they swiftly climb the tress. Oh how we love Autumn! 🍁🍂 can't wait to welcome the upcoming season.

My name is Duane John also known as Demmie. I am a fully qualified Ofsted registered childminder. I aim to provide a safe and enabling environment for children and to provide quality and high standard education for your child/children by using the statutory guidelines of the EYFS. I will allow your child/children to express themselves through play as playing helps to stimulate their growing minds and is very paramount for their learning and development. I will promote positive relationships and positive behaviours with each child who is in my care. I was an assistant childminder for over a year and a volunteer at a non profitable children's play group. During this time, I have gained a substantial amount of knowledge and experience that I'm ready to put into practice here at " Demmie's Little Jewels".

I have acquired the following qualifications: Pediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Level 3, Food Safety and Hygiene for catering Level 2, Recognising and Preventing FGM, Prevent Duty, Understanding Autism Level 2, Prevent Covid-19, EYFS made easy, CPD (Continuing Professional Development), Inquisitive Learning linked to Schematic play, GDPR & Safeguarding with Technology.

I currently have Full time and Part time spaces available from Monday -Friday.
