Happy Chinese New Year!!! We've been celebrating all week with lots of fun CNY-focused activities. We even had some help from mother nature making us some big bits of ice for some exciting play, indoors and out. And as a sneak peek, our new sensory room is almost complete and ready for the children to enjoy.

We're back, after a lovely Christmas break, our first couple of weeks back have been really exciting. We've been to feed the ducks and visit the park. We've been to Moo Music and done lots of fun and exciting activities in the setting. Can't wait for this week. We're going to be focusing on the Chinese New Year and the cultural celebrations that surround it.

We've had a wonderful week, with moo music, soft play and the sensory room, and lots of other fun things including our new pet snail 🤣😍 and absolutely making the most of the wonderful weather.

We had a wonderful time playing with edible paint (natural yoghurt and food colouring)
The children loved exploring the paint with their bodies/painting their bodies 😅🤣 the best bit was clearly being able to eat it 🤣😍

What an absolutely amazing first week back, I've absolutely loved every minute of it ❤ Baby group, walks, and messy play. Can't wait for next week.

Enjoying play-dough with my girls in the sun. They've really enjoyed smelling cutting and exploring the herbs using all their senses, helping themselves from our little herb garden.
Play-dough is a great way to work our fine and gross motor skills preparing the muscles for writing skills. It's also a great opportunity for discussing our emotions and feelings.

What a lovely afternoon printing with potato's that had shapes cut into them. We absolutely loved seeing what patterns we could create and mixing all the paint together, exploring what colours we could make.

Apparently the best bit was adding the paint to the water tray 🤣🤣
