This half term, Cello Class has loved exploring the wonderful world of woodlands!
The children have been learning about trees, seeds and leaves, discovering how woodland animals survive, and proudly identifying trees at Harmony Woods. A sunny trip to Alice Holt Forest with Harp Class was a special highlight!
In Art, they created patterns using natural materials. In Maths, they sorted, measured and counted woodland treasures. Phonics focused on reading and communication, while PE brought lots of fun through ball games and badminton. The children also enjoyed making stuffed mushrooms and flapjacks in Cooking, developing their confidence and independence along the way.
In Personal Development, they explored positive qualities and different careers, sharing their own hopes and ambitions for the future.
When asked about their favourite moments, the children agreed that woodland walks and spending time with friends were hard to beat!
Well done, Cello Class, for a fantastic half term full of learning, exploration and happy memories!
