We are still absolutely buzzing from our first session with some amazing young actors on Wednesday evening in Ampthill.

And we want to meet more of you! We are still offering your first session completely free!

We will now be hosting sessions every Wednesday for the next 6 weeks - aiming to build an ensemble of young actors who will be free to play, explore and create together… limited spaces available.

The growth we saw in each member after just one session was incredible…

MEET THE TEAM: MEGAN
Megan Placito is a graduate of Arts Educational London, she has built a diverse career across film, television, and theatre.
Megan recently wrapped filming on Jagged Edges’ horror feature Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, portraying the iconic lead role of Wendy Darling.

She also appears in The Salt Path (Cannes Film Festival’s top British film pick), starring alongside Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs. Her television credits include BBC’s Father Brown and Doctors.

She has worked as an acting coach for the past year and in doing so helped her students sign with top talent agents, aiding them with the audition process and their screen craft.

MEET THE TEAM: AVA
Ava Potter is an actor and director. Her stage credits include: Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird (Regents Park Open Air Theatre, Barbican, UK Tour) and Lily in Micheal Morpurgo’s Running Wild (Regents Park Open Air Theatre). Her screen credits also include: series regular in The Dumping Ground (CBBC), Call the Midwife (BBC), and Horizon Zero Dawn (Guerrilla Games).

Since completing the Old Vic Theatre-Makers course and directing pieces of new writing at Theatre Peckham, Ava has Assistant Directed Wiebke Green on The Journey to Venice (Finborough Theatre) and Union (Arcola Theatre). Ava recently directed her debut play ‘The Welkin’ written by Lucy Kirkwood at The Bloomsbury Theatre, London. Ava is also currently Production Assistant at BAFTA nominated Candid Broads Productions.

Ava is so excited to work with young and upcoming actors in and around Ampthill, as an actor and director she will be introducing them to exciting new and classical texts - analyzing them, breaking them down and bringing them to life!

MEET THE TEAM: MAX
Max Potter is a graduate of Rose Bruford College. Max has recently wrapped working with BEDS VERU, NGYT and RIVR playing the lead role in ‘Trenches’, a short film about knife crime, county lines and exploitation. The project is set to be taken into schools across Beds, Herts & Bucks with young people experiencing the story through VR headsets.

Max has primarily worked in theatre garnering a number of stage credits : Oliver! UK Tour, Romeo & Juliet (Factory Playhouse), Start (Theatre Peckham), The Lodger (Lion & Unicorn Theatre) Red Riding Hood (The Astor Theatre) and A Monster Calls (The Barn Theatre) as well as appearing in BBC’s Call The Midwife.

Max is so excited to connect with young, local creatives and allow them the space to embrace their authentic inner child to realise their full potential!

MEET THE TEAM: JOE
Joseph Potter is a graduate of Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since graduating Joe can be seen on screen in Interview with the Vampire (AMC), My Policeman (Amazon), Outrageous (BBC), Grantchester (ITV), Grace (ITV) and Father Brown (BBC). His stage credits also include: Oliver, The sound of music (UK TOURS), Candida (Orange tree theatre), Leaves of glass (Park theatre), Salt water moon (finborough theatre) and the Poltergeist (Southwark and Arcola theatre) - the last for which Joe won the offie award for best solo performance.

Joe is so excited to meet and work with young actors in and around the Bedfordshire area, introducing them to a way of work that aims to promote play and freedom in themselves and in the work!
