Little allotment update… we now have some strawberry 🍓 plants and raspberry canes in, kindly donated by a Russell family! Mrs Bunney and Nate also took a trip to the shops and have put in some lettuce 🥬 (ready to cut and eat as we go), carrots 🥕 and leeks as well as a little lavender plant to give off a gorgeous scent.

Happy holidays everyone! To kick it off we have some exciting news…Russell Lower are now the official owners of an allotment plot! We are very lucky to have inherited some beans and will be looking to see what else we can grow over the coming months 🥔🥒🧅🫛
If we have any keen gardeners who would like to help/support please get in touch, Mrs Bunney would be very grateful ☺️

Don't forget you can pop along this afternoon to see your child's work. We look forward to welcoming you. Please arrive via the school office/reception door and make your way to your child’s classroom. You are free to leave when you want to but please just ensure that you notify the class teacher that you are taking your child home so that we can sign them out.

What an amazing weekend (and a bit more!) For Russell Lower. First the choir attended big tent schools on Thursday singing their hearts out and doing everyone proud. We then had an amazing effort today with the parade resulting in second place and then school winner and overall winner for the eco sculpture entry, just wow!
Thank you to all the staff, children and parents who have made this all possible! 💜💜 big tent weekend
