And just like that, the 2026 season ended. It was a good one for us. We added a couple of new shows to the calendar that we will definitely be returning to going forward. We have a great team. Roll on 2027.

We've been very slack about sharing photos over the last few months. Sorry.

So here's a few of us from Kentwell Hall 's "Bringing the Boys Home" . It was a privilege to work with so many other brilliant living history groups and individuals.

One week on from Pembrey and we were back in Swansea for the Wales on Wheels event last Saturday. W0W is a very different animal to Pembrey, but always busy with plenty of questions to field and, for horses and people alike quite exhausting for a one day event. The weather gods also smiled this weekend.

2025 was a bittersweet year. A great events season with excellent feedback, proving that we continue to punch above our weight. Sadly, events closer to home took some of the sheen off of 2025 in the Autumn. So here's to a better 2026. Onwards and upwards.

It wasn't 'over by Christmas'. So many on all fronts lost, but not forgotten.

Well that was our visit to Blaenafon Ironworks 2025. The weather was fine and the visitor numbers were steady. A massive bonus was getting to meet a descendant of Flora Sandes.
