A fantastic first “Santa’s Grotto” at Caban Baban, thank you all for coming to support us and to all the local businesses for their prizes and support, we hope all the kiddies had as much fun as we did!

And a massive thank you to team Caban Baban for the dedication, vision, hard work and effort that went into making the day special. A very special thank you to the 2 special Elf Helpers Ava and Oscar for making sure everything ran smoothly and for making sure Santa didn’t eat all the hot dogs! X

We are looking for somebody who knows how to care, how to laugh, how to nurture and support our little ones to develop and reach their potential whilst also having the most fun possible.

You will need to have buckets of enthusiasm, truckloads of ideas and a bottomless pot of imagination to come and work with us in our happy little team.

Are you a keen gardener that would like to inspire the next generation of keen gardeners? Would you like to volunteer a few hours a week to help children learn about planting and growing their own flowers, herbs etc? We have a small garden with some raised beds that needs some attention, and some eager children who want to get stuck in! If you would like to volunteer then we would love to hear from you!

( note: children aged 6 months to 4 years old, we will do a DBS check and volunteers will be accompanied by staff at all times )

Must already have a Level 2 NVQ/ QCF in childcare

A minimum of 16 hours per week at apprenticeship rate.

This will be a 12 - 18 month placement dependant on course requirements.

Hi we are hoping to re open our doors on Aug 3 rd, if you are a key worker and would be interested in a funded place then please follow this link. Coronavirus and childcare provision | GOV.WALES Guidance on childcare for parents and childcare providers during the coronavirus pandemic.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my wonderful team at Caban Baban for all the work they do every week, but especially for the times ahead. They have all agree to continue to provide childcare for the children of key workers, allowing parents to provide services to protect and serve the wider community. We will continue to keep the nursery going for this for as long as we can, things change so quickly.

We are currently still opening and watching for any changes issued by the government. We follow strict hygiene guidelines, and are asking parents not to send in any children who have come into contact with anyone who may be displaying corona virus symptoms, or have them themselves. Will update with any new information as necessary..
