Today we celebrated our history at the annual Founder’s Day service at St Mary’s Church in Amersham.

School Captain, Matthew, read a passage about the value of education from Malala Yousafzai's autobiography and our talented choir and musicians gave a phenomenal performance.

Rayner took home the trophy for both Sports 'Day’ and the House Competition this year!

Summer Play - The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

It was our very first time performing in this incredible open-air theatre space, and it couldn’t have been more magical.

Our students were absolutely phenomenal. They completely blew us away and poured so much energy into every single moment. Seeing the audience out there with their picnic blankets and chairs was the perfect backdrop to all their hard work.

Last night, we welcomed OC and Olympian James Hernandez back to DCGS for our Celebration of Sport evening. It was great to see him again and to hear about his journey to the recent Winter Olympics. Congratulations, too, to all our young sportsmen and women whose commitment, hard work and contribution were recognised the evening.

This week’s annual Summer Concert showcased the outstanding musical talent of students from Years 7–10, with some special guest appearances from Year 12 musicians.

Congratulations to all the students who performed so confidently and enthusiastically, and thank you to Mr Elliot, Mr Lynch and Mr Anning, who also entertained the audience as members of the staff band.

It was a wonderful celebration of music-making across the school and a fantastic way to round off another successful year.

REMINDER:

Our Non Uniform Day is tomorrow, Tuesday 30 June, in support of Alzheimer's Society. A donation of £2 is requested and will appear on your ParentPay account. Alzheimer's Society is a charity that supports individuals with dementia and their families in communities across the UK through support services, funding dementia research, and raising awareness.

Students are reminded to bring in their bus passes, lunch cards, and locker keys.
