🎶 Our age-specific classes provide an opportunity at Monkey Music for your child to grow and develop in classes specifically designed to help them each week through our songs, activities and musical instrument playing.
We start with newborns, helping parents/grandparents/carers to understand the importance of music in your baby's life straight from birth.
From around 3 months, sight and hearing has stabilised so we'd love you to join us in our Rock'n'Roll sessions; gentle classes introducing magical musical sounds, encouraging tracking & physical development through music.
From around 1 year, Heigh-Ho classes give little ones more opportunity to move, explore their bodies and their abilities as they learn to walk & become much more able to play lots of different musical instruments.
At around 2 years, Jiggety-Jig encourages more play and friendship through our songs and activities. We include basic musical instructions that this age group can start to follow and more complicated actions as they become more physically able.
At 3 years, we begin a foundation in music aimed at ourpreschool age. This includes introducing musical instruments to the children to learn about, listen to and try playing. We include introducing them to simple musical notation and the idea of following a conductor during playing time.
