Muddy MTB was founded by Alex Woods, a qualified mountain bike coach who has been cycling for over 30 years and has competed in mountain bike events all over the world. Dad to George (aged 11) and Raffy (aged 6), he recognised the need for a course that could help children build confidence and stamina, as well as the foundational skills and techniques of safe mountain biking.

One of the kidsā favourite games is Foxes and Rabbits. The Rabbits (with the tails) get a 5 second head start before the foxes try to catch them. Run rabbits run!

If you are about to complete your Duke of Edinburgh and are looking for a volunteering opportunity, we run kidsā mountain bike coaching sessions on alternate Saturday mornings (09:00 - 11:30) at Woodrow High House. We also offer the opportunity to become a certified Level 1 MIAS instructor for the right candidate.
