Happy St Patrick’s Day ☘️ from us all at Acre Wood!

What a wonderful afternoon we have had at Acre Wood for our Mother’s Day Tea Party 💕 We celebrated our lovely mummies by firstly presenting each parent with a lovely bunch of daffodils. Then off for fun and games in the garden and the wind did not stop us. We made potions in the new mud kitchen, explored the playdough, planted sunflower seeds to take home, splashed around in the water play and enjoyed stories in the den. An Acre Wood party would not be the same without lots of yummy treats for all to enjoy. We hope you had fun, it was so lovely to see so many families attend. Thank you all and we hope you have a lovely Mother’s Day 💕

Also, the managers Shining Star Award goes to MICHELLE ⭐️ for all the extra help recently and some wonderful activity set ups ♥️✨

This week at Acre Wood we celebrated ‘Winnie the Pooh Day’. We took part in different activities across the nursery from exploring our favourite books with our teddy bears to sensory plays! All finished off with a teddy bears picnic 🧸 What fun we had 🥰

A HUGE well done to our under 2’s team for putting together such an amazing Christmas Extravaganza ☃️🎄🤶🏻 We were taken on a trip to ‘LapLand’. Starting with our boarding passes before we headed to the fun. This consisted of various sensory stations from exploring ice to cocoa powder to gingerbread playdough and many more. The children, parents and staff all came together to play and celebrate. 🥳 Thank you all for joining us ✨

When Santa came to Acre Wood to visit our children. He shared that everyone is on the good list 🥳 Yay! Then, after our morning with Santa, we were treated to a fabulous Christmas lunch with all of the trimmings! It was very yummy 🎄Well done Teri 🙌

We are very proud of our Busy Bees and Butterflies children. Who over the last 2 days have put on the most magical Christmas Shows. HUGE Thank you to the team for putting this together and to the parents for supporting us ✨🥳☃️🤶🏻

Huge congratulations to Hannah for being awarded Employee of the Month for October. Hannah is a member of our bank staff team and she was nominated by the team. Hannah was recognised for all of her hardwork and support no matter what room she has worked in. Well done Hannah ✨

A huge thanks to all of the parents and staff who donated food and other produce for our Harvest Festival. Your kindness will help local families in need 💕 we couldn’t have done this without your support.
