Maryland Pre-school at St Leonard's has been run by St Leonard's Church since 1989 as an integrated part of its programme for families. Maryland is distinctive as the only Christian run and led nursery locally. At Maryland we use a 'learning through play' approach, and in doing so we aim to provide a secure and stimulating environment where children feel valued and confident. Learning comes from exploration and first-hand experiences, designed to meet the needs of a child's all round development – physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual.
