✨ A look at one of our recent tailored literacy interventions ...✨

Over the past few sessions, one of my pupils has made fantastic progress through personalised literacy sessions focused on building confidence and developing key skills.

Together we've:

📚 Assessed spelling and identified next steps.

✏️ Practised spelling patterns through fun, hands-on activities.

💡 Built a bank of ambitious "wow" words

👀 Explored the five senses to create rich descriptions.

📝 Planned, drafted, edited and improved a creative writing piece.

🎲 Used engaging games to build vocabulary and confidence along the way.

It's so rewarding to see a child grow in confidence and produce a piece of writing they're truly proud of! 🌟

Every session at Val's Study Corner is tailored to the individual child, making learning engaging while developing the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

I offer personalised Literacy and Numeracy tuition for P1–P7, supporting children with confidence, spelling, reading, writing and maths in a fun and encouraging environment.

✨ Summer update from Val's Study Corner! ✨

It's been a little while since I've posted, so I wanted to share a quick recap of what we've been up to over the past month. 📚

A huge thank you to all my students and families for your continued support. It's been wonderful seeing so much progress, growing confidence, and hard work paying off. I'm so proud of every one of you! 🌟

As the school year comes to an end, I hope everyone has a fantastic, well-deserved summer break. Take some time to relax, recharge and make lots of happy memories. ☀️
