As always, a fantastic trip; we were taken on a tour of the prison by ex-guards who shared their fascinating stories of prison life, including the legend of Larry the Poltergeist. Our students were locked in prison cells for a unique escape room experience from which only two groups managed to escape!

Trafford Grammar School Consortium Appoints New Provider
for Admissions Test

We are delighted to announce that the Trafford Grammar School Consortium has appointed Future Stories Community Enterprise (FSCE) as their new admissions test provider for entry to Year 7 from 2028 onwards.

We are delighted to share with you another amazing success of our MFL students. Our Year 9 Translators travelled to Cambridge University yesterday to take part in the National Translation Bee Competition.

Kitty, Divya (French), Maariyah (Spanish), Zaynab and Aaliya (German) all competed against finalists from other regions to translate as many sentences as they could in one minute. They were in the final 67 out of 14,810 who started the competition and they were amazing! Kitty made it to a very exciting final and came 1st for French.

All the students were so resilient and positive during a very long and hot day! They were great company and a real credit to the school.

We are delighted to share that we have been crowned Cheshire Champions!

We are incredibly proud of this team. This is our first hardball competition, and they have performed brilliantly, progressing to the next round of the Knight-Stokes Cup.

If we continue our success, we could earn the incredible opportunity to play at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
