Not me opening a cafΓ© after spending years surviving on meal deals and caffeine π
Honestly, if you'd told 20-year-old Louise she'd own a cafΓ© one day, she'd have laughed in your face.
Mainly because she was skint.
Now we've got people travelling from all over the UK to train with us and stopping for coffee and cake on the way.
Mad.
Sometimes I stand here and think:
"How the f**k did we get here?"
Then I remember.
βThe failed businesses.
βThe overdrafts.
βThe two jobs.
βThe nights I nearly packed it all in.
Anyway...
Enough of that.
Who's coming for coffee?
The treats are causing arguments and I'm not taking ANY responsibility for anybody's diet π

"We're just waiting until we're more confident..."
Honestly?
We're sick of hearing it.
Confidence doesn't magically arrive one morning with a coffee and a business plan.
It comes from doing the thing you're scared to do.
Every single one of our students started somewhere.
Most weren't confident.
Most were terrified.
Some had never picked up a syringe, never posted on social media, never believed they could actually build a business of their own.
But they started anyway.
Now they're treating clients, making money, building brands, opening clinics, and proving to themselves that they were capable all along.
The difference wasn't confidence.
The difference was action.
If you're waiting to feel ready, you'll be waiting forever.
The women winning in this industry aren't the most confident.
They're the ones brave enough to begin.
So here's your sign.
Stop doubting yourself.
Stop watching everyone else do it.
Stop convincing yourself you're not ready.
Your aesthetics journey starts the second you decide it does.
And trust us, the version of you on the other side will thank you for getting startedπ₯

I used to think good work spoke for itself.
It doesn't.
And that was a hard pill to swallow.
Because when you're grafting every day, investing in training, looking after clients and trying to build a business, the last thing you want to hear is that you also need to learn marketing.
But here's what I've learned...
The best businesses aren't always built by the most talented people.
They're built by the people willing to let themselves be seen.
For years, I thought if I just worked harder, the clients would come.
If I got another qualification, the bookings would come.
If I got better results, the business would grow.
Sometimes it did.
Most of the time, it didn't.
Because nobody can book with you if they don't know you exist.
That's why I became obsessed with learning Facebook Ads.
Not because I love ads.
Not because I enjoy staring at numbers.
But because I was tired of watching brilliant women doubt themselves when the real problem was visibility.
You're not invisible because you're not good enough.
You're invisible because you're hiding behind organic reach and hoping for the best.
And I get it.
Ads can feel overwhelming.
That's exactly why I created this membership.
To take away the bu****it, the jargon, and the intimidation.
To show real women how to get their businesses in front of real people.
Not someday.
Not when you're "ready".
Now.
Because the truth is, your next client is already online.
The question is...
Will they ever see you?

The right room can change your life.
Not because someone hands you success.
But because for the first time, you're surrounded by people who think bigger.
People who challenge your excuses.
People who inspire you to do more.
People who make you realise you've been playing smaller than you're capable of.
Louise and I have always said that one conversation can change everything.
One room.
One event.
One connection.
One mindset shift.
When you're surrounded by ambitious women building businesses, chasing goals, and refusing to settle, something happens.
You stop asking "Can I do it?"
And start asking "Why not me?"
The women you spend time with matter.
The conversations you listen to matter.
The rooms you put yourself in matter.
Because growth isn't just about learning new skills.
It's about becoming the kind of woman who believes bigger things are possible for herself.
And trust me, that's where everything starts.
Here's to getting in the right rooms, having bigger conversations, and becoming the woman your younger self would be proud of π

People used to think dyslexia meant I was stupid.
At school I was the βnaughtyβ one.
Couldnβt spell properly.
Couldnβt read out loud without panicking.
Couldnβt sit still long enough to fit into the box they wanted me in.
So eventually⦠I believed them.
No GCSEs.
Failed businesses.
Made mistakes.
Felt embarrassed more times than I can count.
But hereβs what nobody tells youβ¦
Being underestimated can become your f**king superpower.
Because while people were talking, doubting, judging⦠I was building.
Quietly figuring it out the hard way.
I learned through doing.
Through failing.
Through surviving.
Through refusing to give up when it wouldβve been easier to.
Now I run businesses I once could only dream about.
Not because I was the smartest in the room, but because I kept going when things got hard.
Dyslexia never stopped me.
Listening to other people nearly did.
So if youβve ever felt behind, underestimated, written off, or like youβre βnot academic enoughβ to be successfulβ¦
Please hear me when I say this:
You do not need perfect spelling, perfect grades, or a perfect past to build a powerful life.
You just need grit.
Consistency.
And the confidence to prove people wrong through action, not words.

Can we have a real conversation about this industry for a minute?
Some people want to become fully qualified practitioners in a weekend.
One course.
One certificate.
Straight onto social media advertising treatments.
No experience.
No understanding of complications.
No real investment in learning the craft.
Just chasing quick money.
The problem is, aesthetics isn't a side hustle you can fake your way through.
These are real people.
Real faces.
Real risks.
The practitioners who build long-term, respected businesses aren't the ones looking for shortcuts.
They're the ones investing in education, asking questions, practising their skills, learning emergency procedures, understanding anatomy, and continuously improving.
The best in this industry never stop learning.
Success isn't built by collecting certificates.
It's built by becoming so good at what you do that people trust you with their face, recommend you to their friends, and come back year after year.
That doesn't happen overnight.
If you're serious about building a career in aesthetics, stop asking, "What's the fastest way?"
Start asking, "What's the right way?"
Because quick money disappears.
A reputation lasts forever.
π Tell us your thoughts.
Is the industry becoming too focused on speed over skill?

Can I be honest?
Most practitioners aren't struggling because they're not talented.
They're struggling because they're trying to figure everything out alone.
One minute you're learning treatments.
The next you're trying to understand compliance, insurance, consultations, complications, marketing, social media, pricing, client retention, regulations, stock control, and somehow still have a life outside of work.
It's exhausting.
And the truth is, the people who build respected, profitable clinics aren't usually the most talented in the room.
They're the ones with the best support.
That's exactly why we created Bad Bitch Injectors.
A membership designed for practitioners who want more than another certificate.
A place where you get education, mentorship, business support, compliance guidance, confidence-building, and a community of women who are all building something bigger.
For less than the cost of a takeaway each month.
π· Just Β£9.99/month.
Because you shouldn't have to navigate this industry alone.
If you're ready to stop feeling overwhelmed and start feeling unstoppable...

Sometimes I stand in rooms like this and think about the girl I used to be.
The single mum of four.
The nurse doing shifts.
The woman running a business from the back of a van.
And then I look around.
Not with pride in the things.
But with gratitude for how far I've come.
Because what people don't see is that success isn't built in the exciting moments.
It's built in the early mornings when you're exhausted.
The evenings when everyone else has gone home.
The moments you're carrying the weight of your staff, your clients, your students, your family, and wondering if you've got enough left to give.
There are days I still doubt myself.
Days I still feel overwhelmed.
Days I still question whether I'm doing the right thing.
But I keep showing up.
Because that's what building a business really is.
Not perfection.
Not motivation.
Not luck.
Just showing up when it would be easier not to.
People see the finished result.
I remember every version of me that got us here.
And I think that's something worth being proud of.
