Significant term-time Metrolink line closures
Deansgate-Castlefield & Trafford Bar works

From Monday 19 October to Sunday 1 November, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, additional works will take place in the city centre, allowing us to reduce further closures of the tram network.

The following changes will be in place across the network:
• No trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines
• Services operating on the East Didsbury/Manchester Airport lines will terminate at Firswood.
• Services operating on the Rochdale line will terminate at Exchange Square.
Replacement buses will operate between the affected stops.

Tram services will resume as normal from start of service on Monday 2 November.

This is a fantastic video that highlights exactly why Mrs Hogg and Mrs Gwyer are taking on the Great North Run this Sunday in support of CAFOD

Their dedication to raising funds for such an important cause is truly inspiring and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.

We wish them both the very best of luck on race day and will be cheering them on every step of the way. We'll certainly be keeping an eye on the television and hoping to spot them amongst the thousands of runners! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️
