Wonderful Work by Year 4
We are super proud of Year 4 who have done a brilliant job in their latest Wider World project. This time they had 'free choice' so the children could choose a topic they wanted to find out more about.
As always, the children exceeded our expectations with their knowledge and presentation skills, which clearly show how much pride they take in their work.

🏑⚽️Reception Multi-sports Magic ⚽️🏑
What a brilliant morning of friendly multisports with our Reception children!
A fantastic array of different sports and physical development stations on our Astro alongside Forest Park filled with fun and great sportsmanship.
It was a wonderful opportunity to allow the children a chance to participate in small team games alongside other children they weren’t too familiar with.
A huge thanks to all the spectators who came out to support. It’s safe to that a bit of rain doesn’t stop play at Forest!

Budding Writers in Year 1
Mrs Burns is a big fan of creative writing and continually sets her children many challenges. Already this week, the Year 1 children have produced two beautiful pieces of writing, and it’s only Wednesday!
The children’s ideas are great, along with their story telling, presentation and punctuation skills.
Year 1 are DEFINITELY Year 2 ready.

Back to School and Working Hard!
On a whistle stop tour around the school it’s great to see the hive of activity taking place.
Kindergarten were making bees in the art room, Reception building dens in the outdoor learning classroom, Year 1 were drawing and writing about their favourite Teddy, Year 2 have started their new topic about the ‘Seaside’ and our very eldest Foresters in Year 6 are learning all about the Titanic.
We are looking forward to an exciting final half-term in the 2025/26 school year.

Year 5 Mock 11+ Exam
We are incredibly proud of our Year 5 pupils for the maturity, resilience and focus they demonstrated during their mock examinations today.
Working under 11+ exam conditions, they approached every paper with confidence and determination, remaining calm and composed throughout. Their positive attitude and excellent conduct reflected the hard work and preparation they have invested over the year.
It was wonderful to see how unfazed they were by the challenge, showing remarkable maturity and academic ambition.
A fantastic effort from everyone involved – well done, Year 5!
