🌳 YOUNG EXPLORERS FOREST SCHOOL 🌳

In their forest school sessions this week, our littlest people worked as a team to create their very own garden bug hotel. We used all of the things that we collected to create a homely environment for our bugs. We learnt about safety and risky play as we used the saw to cut the tubes and the hammer to hammer everything in place with nails. We added lots of different materials to make our bug hotel, including: bricks, leaves, sticks, moss, mini cogs, and many more. We are eagerly awaiting for the first visitors to arrive at our hotel! 🐞 🐛 🐜

💚 MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 💚

Last week, we proudly celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week at our nursery, embracing this year’s theme: “Take Action.” 💚

Throughout the week, our children explored simple but powerful ways to support positive mental health — from sharing kindness and talking about feelings, to looking after the environment, enjoying mindfulness activities, outdoor play and moments of calm over a Babyccino together.

We encouraged our little people to recognise emotions, help their friends and understand that even small actions can make a big difference to someone’s day. 🌈

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff, children and families for taking part and helping create such a caring, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and heard. 💫
