To celebrate National Marine Week, some of our children enjoyed a visit to the pet shop to see the beautiful fish!
They were fascinated by the different colours, patterns, and movements of the fish, sparking lots of conversation and curiosity about life under the sea. Experiences like these help support children's language, observation skills, and understanding of the world while making learning fun. What a wonderful way to celebrate our amazing marine life!

💛 Celebrating Friendship 💛

Today, some of our children enjoyed a very special visit to Elmscot, our sister setting to celebrate International Friendship Day.

The children proudly took along their handmade friendship cards, sharing kind words and thoughtful messages with their new friends. It was wonderful to see smiles, laughter, and conversations as they spent time getting to know one another through play and creativity.

Experiences like these help children develop confidence, kindness, empathy, and an understanding of the importance of building positive relationships. We are so proud of how warmly they welcomed each other and embraced the spirit of friendship.

🏅 Sports Day 2026 🏅

What a fabulous sports day we have had !
The children started the session with a fun and energetic warm-up session led by the fantastic Stretch and Grow team, getting everyone readyfor the excitement ahead.

They then took part in a variety of traditional races, showing great determination, teamwork, and plenty of smiles along the way. To finish, everyone enjoyed a refreshing cool down after all their hard work.

We are so proud of every child for giving it their all and cheering on their friends.

A huge thank you to all the parents who came along to support the children. We hope you had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed celebrating this special day with us!

Today we celebrated our incredible preschool graduates, and we are absolutely bursting with pride!
Our little graduates were absolutely amazing. Seeing their confidence, smiles, and joy as we celebrated all of their wonderful achievements was a moment we will treasure forever.

A massive thank you to everyone who attended! We hope you all had a lovely time celebrating this milestone with us. Your continued support, cheers, and presence made the event so warm and memorable.

🎾 Tennis and Transitions 🎾

Today our children enjoyed a wonderful trip by bus to Stamford Park to meet new friends from the other nurseries in our group who will be starting the same schools in September.

This special get-together is a lovely way to support the children's transition to school, helping them build familiar friendships and feel more confident and excited about their next adventure.

To celebrate Wimbledon, the children had great fun taking part in tennis-themed games before enjoying a picnic together and exploring the park. Everyone had a fantastic time, full of laughter and happy memories!

🌱 Forest Faces 🌱

This week we enjoyed a wonderful forest adventure! The children explored the woodland, collecting natural treasures such as leaves, twigs, and pine cones before using clay to create imaginative faces on the trees.

This fun, hands-on activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, teamwork, and a love of the natural world. We loved seeing each child's unique woodland creation come to life!

✈️ Airport Adventure! ✈️

This week we took some of our children on a trip to the airport to nurture their current fascination with planes. They loved watching the aircraft take off and land, spotting different airlines, and learning more about how airports operate. It was wonderful to see their excitement and curiosity come to life as they experienced the world of aviation up close. A fun and educational outing that certainly fuelled their passion for all things aeroplanes!
