🦸‍♀️ Superhero sponsored walk! 🦸‍♂️

Today the whole nursery took part in a sponsored walk to raise money for our local superheroes at Cheshire and Trafford young carers!

🦌 Dunham Massey 🦌

The Owls had a lovely day out at Dunham Massey! The children enjoyed exploring the beautiful grounds, enjoying the fresh air and discovering lots of nature along the way, a fun filled day of adventure, learning and making happy memories together 💚🌿

🌿 A berry lovely day at Forest School 🌿

Owls headed into the woods for a spot of blackberry foraging, exploring the natural world and searching carefully for the ripest berries. They loved discovering what was growing around them, collecting their finds and enjoying the excitement of being little foragers.
A wonderful way to learn outdoors, develop independence and connect with nature 💚

🐾 A very special visit 🐾

The children were delighted to welcome some very special visitors today, the wonderful Guide Dogs!

We had a fantastic time learning all about how guide dogs help people who are visually impaired, how they are trained and the very important jobs they do. The children were fascinated and loved meeting the dogs, asking questions and finding out more about their amazing work ❤️

🐛🐞🐜 Bug Hotel 🕷️🪲🐝

The children had a wonderful time visiting the bug hotel at Stamford Park, they enjoyed exploring the different areas of the bug hotel, looking closely at the natural materials and learning about the tiny creatures that make their homes there. It was a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, discover nature and talk about why insects and minibeasts are so important to our environment!

📚 Story time 📚

Reading with our Hedgehogs is more than story time, it’s an opportunity to support early learning and development. Sharing books helps build language and communication skills, encourages listening and attention, introduces new vocabulary and strengthens the bond between babies and their caregivers.

🚂 A lovely adventure for our little explorers 🚂

Today the Owls travelled by train to visit our sister nursery in Chester. They had a lovely journey, made some new friends and have had a wonderful day of fun and learning together!🤍

💚 A visit from our sister nursery 💚

Today we had a lovely visit from some of the staff and children from our sister nursery, Woodlands. It was wonderful to welcome the children, who enjoyed swapping artwork, making new friends and sharing lots of smiles and laughter together. Visits like these help build confidence, friendships and a real sense of community across our nurseries 💚

🌿 Forest School 🌿

Today at Forest School we enjoyed a visit to the pond, the children loved exploring the area, looking for pond life and observing the plants and wildlife. It was a wonderful opportunity to encourage curiosity, teamwork and a love of nature.

🔥 Let’s be firefighters 🧯

Today our bears were transformed into firefighters, armed with their hoses and endless determination, they race to put out the fires and save the day. Learning about bravery, teamwork and helping others, every little hero starts with a big imagination! ❤️
