Lovely morning escaping the heat at softplay this morning the children had so much fun exploring.

On Friday we went to one of our favourite playgroups ❤️

We loved spending time in the outdoor area, getting stuck into all the fantastic toys and resources, and having the opportunity to socialise with other children.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a lovely snack and finished with a fun-filled music session, full of smiles, singing and laughter. 🎵✨

We always feeling grateful for this being our job 🤗❤️

✨ We've had a very busy and exciting morning today! ✨

Our little ones had so much fun getting stuck into a variety of sensory and messy play experiences. From exploring paint and squishy spaghetti to diving into the ball pit and creating with play dough, there were lots of opportunities to investigate, discover and learn through play.

The children loved using their senses to explore the different textures, colours and materials, showing curiosity and enthusiasm throughout.

We were also lucky enough to enjoy some extra time in the sensory room and soft play area, which was a huge hit with everyone! Lots of smiles, laughter and happy memories made this morning very special. ❤️

🐦Ready for our little robins this week! 🐦

One of our favourite things about the weekend is having a little refresh of our play space and setting out some new resources for the children to discover. We always get so excited thinking about their reactions and wondering what will capture their interest this week while we continue our farms and animal theme.

Everything is ready, and we can't wait to welcome our little robins back tomorrow morning. Seeing them explore, create, learn and have fun is the best part of our job. ❤️

Looking forward to another week of adventures together!

Today's adventure included a visit to soft play followed by time in the sensory room. The children had lots of opportunities to develop their gross motor skills, coordination, social skills, and confidence through active play. The sensory room provided a calm and engaging environment for exploration and relaxation. A wonderful day of learning through play! 🌈

🐠🐰 Animal Week Fun! 🐦🐹

Today our little explorers enjoyed a trip to the pet shop as part of our animal-themed activities! The children loved watching the fish swimming around the tanks, spotting colourful birds, and meeting some furry friends.

There were lots of smiles, pointing, animal sounds, and curious little faces as we talked about the different animals and their homes. Visits like these provide wonderful opportunities to support children's communication, language development, and understanding of the world through real-life experiences.

We can't wait to continue our animal adventures throughout the week!

🐄🐑 Our Farm Animal Topic Begins! 🐓🐖

To kick off our farm animal topic for next week, we enjoyed a wonderful visit to Nixon's Farm. The children loved meeting and learning about lots of different types of animals, from furry friends to feathered favourites.

There was also plenty of time for fun and exploration in the children's play areas, both indoors and outdoors. The children had a fantastic day developing their curiosity, confidence, and understanding of life on a farm.

We can't wait to continue our farm animal learning next week and build on all the exciting experiences from our visit! 🚜🌾🐐

On Friday, we visited the zoo with the children we saw so many different animals and really enjoyed watching the sea lion show. We discussed the different types of animals, their habitats, and the sounds they make. The children were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the visit, and it was wonderful to see their excited faces as they explored and learned about the animal world. 🦁 🐘 🐧 🐒

Today we went for a lovely walk to the park! The big children really enjoyed playing on the equipment, while it was a little too busy for our littlest one, so we had lots of fun exploring the toys and grassy areas instead. Once the park had quietened down and the other children had gone home, we had the whole place to ourselves to enjoy 😊

After nap time, the fun continued with a water fight, fishing for toy fish in the water, and some messy crazy soap and water play! The children had such a wonderful afternoon exploring, splashing, and learning through play 💦🐟☀️

We made the most of the sunshine today with lots of fun in the tuff tray using sponges, Funnels, jugs and squirters ☀️💦 It was lovely to see everyone so engaged, laughing and enjoying the water play together.

We also had great fun getting messy and creative at our crazy soap ice cream station 🍦🫧 Such a fun-filled day of sensory play, imagination and smiles all around!
