Year 4 set off to Ferny Crofts last week and had an amazing time climbing, building, pushing personal boundaries, enhancing teamwork skills, and of course, enjoying the sunshine. Everyone participated in all activities, going higher or faster with each attempt. We are very proud of them all.

Year 5 had a memorable residential in the Isle of Wight, exploring Carisbrooke Castle, Dinosaur Isle, Alum Bay, and Osborne House, while enjoying activities like fossil hunting, go-karting, and beach outings. William, Year 5, says "It was a completely unforgettable trip away and we discovered so much about the Isle of Wight".

We are delighted to announce that Ijoba has earned a merit in the UKMT Pink Kangaroo challenge. His achievement follows his gold certificate in the earlier Intermediate Maths Challenge. Congratulations to Ijoba for his outstanding performance and dedication to mathematics!

Our cadets have stepped into the world of archery, thanks to the generous grant from the Combined Cadet Force Association. With their help, we've acquired new equipment and trained our instructors.

Our cricket and rounders teams are off to a fantastic start this season! Year 3 and 4 triumphed in a close cricket match, winning by just 3 runs. Meanwhile, our Year 10 Girls secured victory in their first rounders league match, and the Year 6 girls B Team and Year 10 cricket team enjoyed their debut matches under the sun. Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 boys' cricket teams for their wins, and a big shoutout to the Year 6 girls A Team for their impressive 22-run victory! Keep up the great work, everyone!

Thank you to our PTFA for an amazing Pub Games and Quiz Night. There were lots of teams, who answered fun quiz questions, and took part in games such as giant Connect 4, Quoits, Dominos, Skittles, Darts and Beer Pong! There was also an opportunity for parents and staff to take on the CPR Challenge, learning how to do CPR correctly and then competing to see who could do it at the correct speed and accuracy.
