“I hoped for one thing and got several. Sleep has improved and I appreciate the butterflies. I concentrate and put more effort into the things in my life I enjoy, and I have closed the door on those who do not value me or my time.”

This is from Anna, Hampshire, who originally came to me because a difficult customer at work had drained her morale, knocked her confidence and left her questioning whether she could keep doing a job she usually enjoyed.

She came for help with work but said she has also got her life back.

Through my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, Anna began to feel calmer, clearer and more in control. As her nervous system settled, the changes started to ripple beyond the workplace.
Her sleep improved. Her mind felt clearer. She began putting more energy into the things that brought her joy, and less energy into people who didn’t value her.

That is what can happen when anxiety stops taking up so much space. You don’t just cope better with one difficult situation. You begin to feel more like yourself again.

If anxiety is affecting your work, sleep, confidence or ability to enjoy life, my programme can help you feel calmer and more in control.

One of the questions I am regularly asked by clients is why their anxiety returns just when they thought things were starting to improve.

They may have had a calmer few days and started to feel hopeful. They think maybe things are finally getting better. Then suddenly, the anxiety returns.

The racing thoughts. The tight chest. The overthinking. The feeling of being on edge when nothing obvious has happened. And when it returns, it can feel so disheartening.

You start questioning yourself. What did I do wrong? Why can’t I control this? Why does it keep coming back when I’m trying so hard?

But let me reassure you, anxiety returning does not mean you have failed. It usually means your nervous system is still stuck in an old pattern. It has learned to scan for danger, prepare for worst-case scenarios and keep you on alert, even when you are safe.

That is why trying to think your way out of anxiety doesn’t always work. Your body needs support too.

In my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, I help people understand the anxiety cycle, calm their nervous system and learn practical tools to respond differently when anxiety starts to rise.

This is something I hear so often from clients who feel as though their mind never really stops.

You might get through the day, answer the messages, do the work, support everyone else and look as though you’re coping. But inside, your thoughts are constantly running.

What if this goes wrong? What if I’ve forgotten something? What if I said the wrong thing? What if I can’t cope?

Even when nothing is actually happening, your body can still feel on edge - as though it’s waiting for something bad to happen.

This is one of the most exhausting parts of anxiety. It isn’t always one big panic moment. Sometimes it’s the constant mental load. The background tension. The racing thoughts. The worst-case scenarios. The feeling that you never get a real break from your own mind.

If this is you, I want you to know that you are not broken. Your nervous system may simply be stuck in low-grade fight-or-flight.
In my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, I help people calm their nervous system, understand what is happening in their body and begin to feel more peaceful and in control. You don’t have to keep living on high alert.

“I’m a project manager and positive by nature, but after dealing with a really difficult customer, I started to feel miserable. Nothing I did was appreciated and it took up so much of my work time that I had no time for my other projects.

I felt like I didn’t know how to do my job anymore and actually considered quitting a job I usually enjoy.”

Anna came to me when anxiety and workplace stress had started to affect her confidence and wellbeing.

One of the symptoms of anxiety people don’t always talk about is self-doubt. You can be capable, experienced and good at what you do, but when your nervous system is under pressure, one difficult situation can make you feel as though you’re failing.

Through my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, Anna began to understand that while she couldn’t change another person’s behaviour, she could change how she responded to it. Now she feels much calmer. Things still matter, but they don’t consume her in the same way.

If anxiety is making you doubt yourself at work, you don’t have to keep battling through alone.

“I’ve tried so many things to help my anxiety.
Therapy, apps, books, breathing exercises, supplements, positive thinking, pushing through, avoiding things, trying harder, starting again.

Some things helped for a while. Some helped in the moment. Some gave me hope at the beginning. But somehow, the anxiety kept coming back.

And after every attempt that didn’t fully work, the fear got louder. What if nothing works for me? What if I’m too far gone? What if this is just who I am now?”

By the time start I start working with my clients they have often tried to fix their anxiety themselves and the failure just compounds their anxiety even more.

If this is where you are, I want you to hear this clearly: you are not broken.

The fact that other things haven’t fully worked does not mean you have failed. It may simply mean you’ve been trying to think your way out of something that also lives in your body.

My Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme works with the nervous system as well as the mind, helping you feel calmer, safer and more in control.

You are not too far gone. There is another way.

The racing heart. The tight chest. The shaking hands. The dizziness. The stomach that won’t settle. The strange sensations that make you wonder if something is seriously wrong. One of my clients recently said:

“I can understand anxiety logically and still feel terrified physically. I can tell myself I’m safe, that nothing bad is happening, that I’ve felt this before - but my body doesn’t seem to believe me.
That’s what makes anxiety feel so frightening.

And it’s why being told to “just relax” or “think positive” can feel so frustrating. If it were that simple, I would have done it already.”

Anxiety isn’t just in the mind. It lives in the nervous system too.

Through my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, I help people understand what their body is doing and how to gently calm that survival response.

Your body hasn’t betrayed you. It has been trying to protect you. Now it needs to learn that the danger has passed.

Even after all the work I’ve done personally and professionally, anxiety can still raise its head from time to time.

The difference now is that it no longer controls me.

I’ve learned to see anxiety not as failure, but as information.
•Sometimes it tells me I’m stepping outside my comfort zone.
•Sometimes it tells me I care deeply.
•Sometimes it reminds me to pause, breathe, ground myself and use the tools I know work.

Anxious energy doesn’t have to hold you back. With the right support, it can become focus, preparation and courage.

That’s why I created my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme to help you understand anxiety, calm your nervous system and feel more in control.

Anxiety may still whisper from time to time. But it doesn’t have to be the voice in charge.

When Sarah first started working with me, she was outwardly successful but inwardly exhausted.
On paper, she was managing her role well. But behind the scenes, anxiety was making meetings, deadlines and difficult conversations feel far more overwhelming than they needed to be.

Through my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, we worked together on simple, practical tools she could use during the working day - techniques to calm her nervous system, quieten the inner critic and feel more grounded under pressure.

Over time, Sarah began to notice a real shift. She felt clearer in meetings, more confident when speaking up and better able to manage challenges without spiralling into panic or self-doubt.

Anxiety doesn’t always look like falling apart. Sometimes it looks like holding everything together while feeling overwhelmed inside.

If workplace anxiety is affecting your confidence, communication or ability to feel calm under pressure, my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme can help.

“I spend so much of my day looking like I’m coping.

I smile in meetings, reply to messages, make small talk and get through everything that needs to be done. From the outside, I probably look calm and capable. But inside, it feels so different.

My chest is tight, my stomach is churning and my mind is constantly racing. It takes so much energy to appear “normal” when my nervous system feels like it’s on high alert all the time.

By the time I get home, I feel completely empty. I have given my best version to work, to other people, to the outside world and there is hardly anything left for my partner, my children or myself.”

If you feel the same as this client of mine, I want you to know that you are not weak and you are not broken. Your body may simply be stuck in survival mode.

Through my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, I help people calm their nervous system, understand what is happening in their body and begin to feel more in control from the inside out. You don’t have to keep pretending you’re fine.

“I used to be someone who said yes.

Yes to dinner with friends. Yes to trips away. Yes to trying new things. Yes to spontaneous plans that didn’t need three days of mental preparation.

But somewhere along the way, anxiety started making my world smaller.

Now, even simple things can feel like something I need to prepare for. I find myself running through everything that could go wrong before I’ve even left the house. What if I panic? What if I can’t leave? What if people notice? What if I ruin it for everyone?

So I cancel.

Then I feel guilty. Then I feel ashamed. Then I promise myself I’ll do it next time. But next time comes and anxiety wins ….again.”

That’s how one of my clients described the way anxiety crept in and gradually took over her life.

One of the hardest parts of anxiety is not just how it feels, but what it quietly takes - your freedom, your confidence, your spontaneity and your sense of who you used to be.

In my Quit Anxiety: Gain Peace programme, I help people rebuild trust in their body, calm their nervous system and begin saying yes to life again, one step at a time.
