For some pupils it just takes having someone who believes in them and can see their true potential.

I’m so proud of what my year 6 pupil and my year 11 SEND student have achieved in their exams, both of whom had been ‘written off’ by their schools.

Gaining ARE in his SATs when he was predicted below will give him the positive start he needs when he starts at secondary school.

As for my year 11 student - I couldn’t be prouder. A bright and capable girl who was let down so badly by her secondary school and who I was only given a few months to prep for her level 2 English Functional Skills exams has achieved high marks and can now positively embrace the next stage of her education journey at college.

All it takes is spending time getting to know the pupil and building the confidence and self belief that has been knocked out of them. The possibilities of success are then endless.
