Busy Bees at Anstey Park Busy Bees @ Anstey Park is a term time Ofsted registered nursery for children aged from 1 to school age. We are situated just off of the centre of Alton.

There are two rooms, a Toddler room and a Pre-school room, and a wonderful spacious outdoor area.

The application deadline for Working Families funded childcare is 31 August.

If you have a pre-school child eligible for early years education funding, you will need to apply NOW for your child to take up their funded hours from September.

What a fantastic week the Busy Bees had to end another fantastic year.
The Busy Bees independently made sandwiches to enjoy with their own bears for our teddy bears picnic. They had a special visitor who they observed closely and so carefully. And to celebrate the start of summer we had so much fun at our end of term party!

We hope you all have a lovely summer. We are excited to see you back on the 1st September alongside the new Bees and their families

A very big thank you to Mill Cottage Farm for bringing your wonderful animals to us at Busy Bees today. The children had such a lovely time meeting them. They were able to get close enough to gently pet the animals and hold some too!
We are so proud of the Busy Bees. They demonstrated brilliant listening skills and care towards the animals. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. What a special treat! 🐖🐑🫏

Following on from our pirate role play area last week, we have our very own beach this week!

The Busy Bees spent the day building sandcastles, surfing and ordering yummy ice creams! Whilst engaging in play they shared their own experiences and fond memories around their trips to the beach.

What a fun and cooling end to our week!
The Busy Bees had a whale of a time splashing around the paddling pools, laughing with friends and even splashing the grown ups! And to cool off that little bit more we enjoyed a tasty watermelon as a healthy snack.
We are excited to spend the last week of term with our bees. It’s going to be a busy week ahead! 🐝

To support our school leavers with their transition to school we have had our very own school role play area here at Busy Bees. We have practiced dressing & un******ng in school uniform, writing & recognising our names, pouring, using a knife & fork and all independently. It has prompted lots of conversations around school stay & plays, our teachers names & friends.

FANTASTIC FOOTBALL FUN ⚽️

The Busy Bees have recently shown an interest in football. With the World Cup in full swing and England having a win yesterday it only seemed right too have our very own football Bee cup today.
And what a fantastic day it was! Our preschool room turned into a football stadium this morning before the kick off started over on the local field. The Busy Bees all joined in and demonstrated great gross motor skills. They strengthened their ball skills all whilst being part of a team. We’ve discussed different countries from around the world and looked at different flags, before making our own. Once the games were over we made trophy’s to celebrate our wins of the day ⚽️🐝
