Today we had a lovely visit from Hampshire Healthy Families who shared the importance on brushing our teeth, healthy eating and well being. The Busy Bees demonstrated brilliant listening skills during their stories and joined in singing the songs! They engaged in activities to support their learning around healthy and unhealthy foods and had the opportunity to brush teeth whilst discussing the importance of it 🦷
Thank you again to Hampshire Healthy Families for visiting, we look forward to seeing you again. 🐝

SPACE WEEK 🚀🪐🔭🧑🏻‍🚀

The Busy Bees engaged in multiple sensory activities over the week relating to space. They crafted some beautiful planets, telescopes and rockets. We created our own control panel for the space rocket role play and even used our spinning chair to help paint our very own galaxy! The Busy Bees also had the opportunity to climb into our sensory tent and spin some lights before relaxing under the galaxy! ✨💫

Over the past few weeks the children have worked together to create an art piece for the annual Alton Art Society Exhibition. Our piece is based on our new favourite story Gruffalo Granny by Julia Donaldson. The Exhibition is open, free of charge to the public from Saturday 10th to Sunday 18th October from 10am to 5pm at The Assembly Rooms in Alton. Please go along & see the wonderful works of art on display, especially our own Gruffalo Granny 😊
