Alton Community Share Alton Community Share is part playgroup (complete with refreshments) and part toy, jigsaw and game library. We hope to see you soon.

Everything is totally FREE and it’s powered by donations. Alton Community Share is open on the 2nd Saturday of every month, from 2pm - 4pm. It's a welcoming place with games, toys and jigsaws that you can play with during the session or / and borrow to take away with you.

We're passing on a few more of our lovely donations.
These games are not quite right for us but they deserve a good home somewhere...
- Boggle game. No instructions but otherwise complete and portable.
- Words with friends race game.
- Twerk pong game
- Floss pong game

Plus we still haven't found a home for the lovely whale clock / blackboard.

If you'd like any (or all!) of these items you can collect them at our next session (see below for details). However if that doesn't work for you please message us and we can arrange another time.

We're passing on some more of our lovely donations.
These games are not quite right for us but they deserve a good home somewhere
- Boggle. No instructions but apart from that it's complete and portable.
- Words with friends
- Floss pong
- Twerk pong

Also we haven't found a home yet for the whale play clock / blackboard.

The late and much-missed Phinna Brealey played a key role in setting up the Community Share during the Covid pandemic. A few years later, she organised and ran the ACAN Eco-Cafe in 16 Market Square. Here is a photo of her beautiful window display in Market Square focused on the Share (and also the Alton Repair Cafe).

PLEASE GIVE ME A PERMANENT HOME 🤞
Some lovely items donated to us are just not quite right for us to keep at Alton Community Share.
Can anyone give any of these items a permanent home?
- Wooden dress up bear with different heads, tops and legs to mix and match.
- Whale shaped clock with removable numbers on one side and chalk board on the other.
- 2 x IKEA plastic chairs
