I’d like to show a little love for one of our lovely students Mia. Mia has worked so hard for our show but unfortunately due to an injury she is unable to take part in the show and is of course very upset by this. While she has had to sit out of classes with her moon boot on she has been working on some lovely art work to decorate the stage at the weekend and she will be helping with some important behind the scenes jobs for me instead. We’re hoping she can still come on for the finale, just because she can’t perform on the day we feel she still deserves the big clap from the audience for all her hard work throughout the year and for the great job on her art work too! 🩷

Everyone has now got their show costumes ready for next week. I have had a few people this week that have lost costumes which has meant I have had to re buy them. Some of them then require bedazzling/sewing extra fancy bits on to match the rest and I am quite limited for time to do this now. Please have a check asap to be sure you know where your costume is, if you wait till Fridays class to tell me, there is absolutely nothing I can do to ensure you have a costume for the weekend. I also will have to enforce that any lost costumes be sourced and paid for out of your pockets as I simply don’t have any more funds in the costume pot to buy costumes twice. Also a friendly reminder that the dress rehearsal is compulsory in order to take part in the show (unless of course it is due to illness) lots of hard work goes in to putting together show and I am pretty flexible and accommodating throughout the year so please on this one occasion each year don’t let myself and your team down.
