The school year has come to a close . It’s been a very challenging year this year and one we couldn’t have got through with out the support of our amazing Families , Staff and Governors. We can’t thank the whole school community enough for their patience and kindness through this turbulent year . We are looking forward to the new challenges the next academic year brings.

We are sad to say a fond farewell to our amazing year 6 pupils, you all will be a huge miss to our school community. It was very emotional watching you conga out the school at 3pm to a huge round of applause 👏. We wish you every happiness for your future.

We wish all our families a peaceful and restful summer .
From all the Staff & Governors at St Paul’s.

[01/04/21]   Dear All,
Due to the short notice - School will be closed to all pupils tomorrow to allow staff the opportunity to plan and ensure the environment is ready for keyworker and vulnerable children on Wednesday.

Information regarding booking keyworker provision will be shared tomorrow, along with information regarding online learning.

Thank you for your continued patience and support,
Best wishes
Mrs E Lomax

[01/04/21]   Dear Parents/Carers,

Governors met earlier today to discuss the reopening of school and after overcoming a number of considerable challenges, I am pleased to inform you that we are able to open school fully on Tuesday 5th January 2021, for Little Lambs, Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.

We ask that you please continue to adhere to the start and finish times that were in place before Christmas and would urge you to follow COVID protocols in an effort to keep our school and its community safe.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Nursery provision at the present time but we will hope to resume full service in the very near future.

We fully understand that many of you will have some concerns and anxieties about your children returning to school at the present time. We are confident that St Paul’s is a safe environment for your children to attend school and will do everything in our power to ensure it stays that way. However, we do recognise that the decision to send your child into school rests with you, their parents and carers, and respect that many of you may be reticent to do so.

As I’m sure you will all appreciate, this is a rapidly changing landscape and therefore subject to change. We will continue to keep you updated and ask for your patience and support during these challenging times. By working together as a community I am confident that we can continue to provide a happy and safe environment for your child to continue their learning at St Paul’s.

Best Wishes

Mrs Eileen Lomax

[01/03/21]   Good Evening Parents,
Once again we are facing uncertain times. We are aware of the closure of many of the Primary School in and around the Alnwick area and at present we are reviewing our capacity to open school on Tuesday 5th January 2021. We understand this is very unsettling time for the families at St Paul's and we will do our best to provide a further update as soon as we possibly can.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

St Paul's Staff.
