Our Story

You will find us in the village of Longhoughton in beautiful rural Northumberland. We provide a modern childcare setting, with a highly experienced team. We offer spaces to all families and children from the local community and surrounding areas as far afield as Felton, Longframlington and Seahouses.

We have strong links to our community including the nearby Air Force Base (Royal Air Force Boulmer) and the local First School (Longhoughton CofE First School).

Our nursery provides enriched early educational experiences in a stimulating, safe and age appropriate building, following the Early Years Foundation stage and we are Ofsted registered and rated as as good setting. Our staff team are well qualified and able to provide quality care and planning to address the developmental needs for each individual child.

Our rural location is perfect for your children to explore the natural environment in a safe setting, we have the countryside and the beach on our doorstep and we make sure we make the most of it within our play and learning experiences with our children.

Offering 40 spaces for children from birth to their fifth birthday, plus we accept all forms of early years education funding, just have a chat when you visit to make sure you are accessing all of the childcare support you could be.

We offer discounted rates for a whole week booking, plus can offer sibling discounts, so even if your little one isn’t ready for their full time place, they could join us for one morning per week to help them settle when they are ready to join us or to give you an opportunity for time for college, working or wellbeing activities.

We are so proud of our setting, parents give us tremendous feedback. Our ethos is to work in partnership with our parents, including using a digital management software which helps us all communicate and see the progress your children are making, plus regular catch ups, open door policy and a huge warm welcome when you arrive.
