In Humanities Fawns class are learning about local history. They visited local church St Michael's and looked at headstones and historical artefacts.
If anyone is having a spring clear out and has any dressing up costumes (preferably older sizes but will take any), they no longer use and are in good condition we would happily take them off your hands! These can be dropped off at either site, thank you π

Our Travel Ambassadors for Modeshift (Supporting Sustainable Travel) visited County Hall. Along with 6 other schools, they delivered a presentation to bid for funding for a project to support our older pupils becoming confident travelling by bus. We were awarded Β£200 which was then matched, awarding us Β£400! All our pupils were exceptional representatives for Barndale, and we were very proud of them.

Some of Hedgehog class had the opportunity to go pony riding with the lovely volunteers from the RDA. They were very brave and walked the horses around the arena and some of them even sat and rode on the horses! Well done everyone! π΄π

To coincide with Science week some of our pupils enjoyed an exciting trip to Arcinova - A Quotient Science Company, where they had a tour and took part in discussions with amazing engagement. We received lovely feedback from the company who said it was a pleasure to host our pupils and staff! Keep flying that Barndale flag and doing us proud βΊοΈ
