Celebrating another having taught some of the Junior Rangers how amazing an map can be! A real life example of scales, visual representation of river movements over time, create 3D drawing in 2D.

Maps aren't only for navigating, they can teach student parts of the curriculum across multiple subjects.

Interested in how we can help you use your surroundings and maps to support your lessons? Drop us a message and we can plan an adventure with you

What an awesome day we just had with Kingussie High School supporting their Junior Rangers week!

Weather rolled in with lots of rain and wind meaning a last minute change from canoeing to foot based exploring, allowed for some close up experiences of beaver reintroductions with Pete from the beaver project. Followed by some map interpretations, tarpology, and some ecology themed games in the ancient Caledonian Pine Forest.

🦉🌲🌳It's 6th November and that means it's Outdoor Classroom Day!!! 🥳🤩🪵🍁🍂🍃

Outdoor Classroom Day advocates for getting students into nature and spending more time learning outside. It’s an opportunity to take existing classroom lessons and apply them in real-world contexts, which can deepen understanding and practical application of learning. It’s about much more than just building fires; it's about integrating the outdoors into the curriculum

See how we can help at www.wildschoolsproject.co.uk with delivery engaging outdoor learning or upskilling and developing confidence in your staff to get learning outdoors.
