We hope you have all had a great summer holidays and are ready for the new school year ahead.

Just a few housekeeping reminders…

WEDNESDAY 13 AUGUST - School opens at 8:50am

Pupils should enter the playground and line up with their new class teacher.

Our new P1 children will be taken up to their class at 9:15am so it is quieter for them. There will be a photo board available for new Pl families to record their first day. (All families are welcome to use this before 9am.)

Breakfast club starts at 8:20am.

If you have applied for a place at extended breakfast club, Active Sports will have been in contact with you to confirm your place.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

We ask that parents and carers remain in the playground and DO NOT gather at the main door or bottom of the playground at pick up/drop off, please stay behind the trim trail. This helps to ensure that our children and young people have adequate space to access/leave the building safely and for parents/carers to be seen at pick up.

A reminder that we are a NUT FREE school and that snacks like lollipops and Brain Licker type sweets are not allowed.

PARKING
A reminder to be considerate when parking. As we know Broad Street is busy, and it’s not always easy to get parked. Please do not park on pavements where it will reduce space for other pedestrians to safely use the pavement.

Also please DO NOT park at the main entrance gate as this is used for bus drop off/pick up. Just because the space is empty it doesn’t mean that the bus has been ☺️

Also please be considerate if parking in residential streets surrounding the school, that you are not blocking driveways or restricting access to residents parking.

MEDICATION REQUIREMENTS
if any child requires prescribed medication in school, parents/carers need to complete and sign a request form along with the medication. This includes any inhalers that your child may need to use. Please contact the office if you need help with this.

As always, any questions etc you know where we are.
Xx
