📣 An update to our Tuesday Tots booking system!

To help us run smoothly, reduce some of the admin behind the scenes and make sure we’re planning the right amount of food and resources each week, we’re tightening up how bookings and payments work 🤓

Booking through Eventbrite is essential and please remember to:
✨ Book a space for each child attending
🥪 Add a roll & sausage if you would like one
📝 Complete the allergies section

Bookings will open from Tuesday afternoon for the following week and will close at 8pm on Sunday. This means we’ll have our final numbers in plenty of time to get everything organised for Tuesday.

When you arrive, tick your name on the sign-in sheet, pay by cash or card at the door and pick up your roll & sausage ticket if booked and paid for 😀

✨ Big Steps & Bright Smiles! ✨
Good luck to all my amazing minded children taking their next big steps! Whether you’re moving up a class, starting nursery, or putting on that shiny new primary 1 uniform for the very first time, I am SO proud of every single one of you.
It has been such a privilege watching you grow, learn, and play. Seeing you get ready for this new adventure makes my heart so full! I know there might be a few butterflies,nerves and even some tears but remember how brave, clever, and kind you are.

You are all going to absolutely SMASH IT! 💥

Parents, pop the kettle on, you survived the prep! And they will be ok so will you,Sending big hugs, high fives, and all the best luck in the world for a fantastic new term! 🎒✏️🎨❤️

💕 A Very Bitter-Sweet Goodbye 💕

​After 3 and a half wonderful years, today I’m saying goodbye to a very special little guy who has truly stolen a piece of my heart.
​Watching you grow from a little toddler into the funny, bright, and caring big boy you are today has been one of my absolute greatest joys. We’ve shared endless giggles, messy play, big milestones, and memories I’ll hold onto forever. a child leaving that you’ve loved and nurtured for so long is never easy, but seeing the amazing person you're becoming makes me so proud.
​As you take this next big step, I know you are going to absolutely smash nursery! They are so lucky to have you.
​Thank you to his family for trusting me with him for all this time. I’m going to miss that little smile so much, but I can’t wait to hear about all the grand adventures ahead.

🌟 What an absolute whirlwind of fun at Wee Bairns Childminding this week! 🌟

​Our little adventurers have been super busy learning, playing, and making wonderful memories together. Here is a quick peek at what we got up to:
​🍃 Monday: We kicked off the week with a trip to the river in Bridge of Allan to explore the natural world!
🎨 Tuesday: Creative play day! We worked on our fine motor skills with arts & crafts at Jane’s house.
🍎 Wednesday: We visited Jane's Childcare for a Food Market to learn all about healthy foods and building community connection.
🚂 Thursday: All aboard! We hopped on the train for an exciting adventure to Glasgow Green Play Village.we saw loads of Scottie dogs.
🍕 Friday: We capped off the week in style with our very own Wee Bairns Childminding Festival & Pizza Party! And oh boy was it a proper festival bring on the rain lol 🤣 🎉

​Huge thanks to all our lovely Wee Bairns and Jane's childcare little ones for their energy, smiles, and curiosity this week! Rest up over the weekend, little ones! 😴✨

What We'll Be Learning This Week 💡📚
Behind all the fun, here is what our little adventurers will be working on throughout the week:

Nature Exploration & World Curiosity: 🌿 Exploring the river environment in Bridge of Allan will help us learn about local wildlife, water safety, and the natural world around us.

Fine Motor Skills & Self-Expression: 🎨 Painting and crafting on Tuesday will give little hands a workout, building dexterity, pencil control, and artistic confidence.

Healthy Choices & Social Roles: 🥕 Our market day at Jane's lets us role-play social interactions, learn where our food comes from, and make healthy choices.

Public Transport & Community Awareness: 🚂 Riding the train to Glasgow Green builds confidence in new environments, teaches public transport awareness, and broadens our horizon beyond the local area.

Social Connections & Group Celebration: 🎉 Friday’s festival and pizza party gives the kids a wonderful chance to build friendships, practise sharing, and celebrate a great week together!

Well I'm back from holidays and straight into week 4 off the summer and our adventures this week stay a bit closer to home (I'm still recovering lol) but just as much fun to be had.

☀️ What a magical, busy day of childminding adventures! ☀️
​Today we descended on Jane's house for an absolute extravaganza of baking and market play. We transformed the garden into a bustling marketplace, complete with:
​✉️ A busy Post Office
​🧪 A magical Potions Stall
​🌸 A beautiful Flower Shop
​☕️ A cozy Cafe
​The imagination on display was incredible! After running our shops, we turned into master chefs and baked up a storm. We made delicious cookies, brownies, cakes, and yummy pizza pinwheels which we devoured for lunch! 🍕😋
​To finish off the perfect day, we cooled down and had a blast splashing around in the sprinkler! 💦
​🎒 Holiday Notice: Deborah is now officially off-duty for a week as she heads off on her holidays! Wishing everyone a wonderful week, and we will see you all very soon! ✈️🍦

🚂 All aboard! Today we traded the playroom for a grand adventure on the train to Linlithgow Palace! 🏰✨

​The children were so excited watching the world whiz by from the train windows, but the real magic started when we stepped inside the palace walls. We turned into history explorers, learning all about the kings and queens who used to walk these very halls (did you know Mary, Queen of Scots was born here?!). 👑

​We even braved the spiral stairs to the very top! It was a wee bit windy up there, which led to lots of giggles and holding onto our hats, but the views were absolutely worth it. 💨👀

​Such a brilliant day out packed with fresh air, history, and lots of smiles. Tired legs and very happy little historians heading home today! ❤️
